Also, within easy access is The Secret Forest, a beautiful woodland now reclaimed by nature, and Clearwell (3 miles) is a great underground experience with nine caverns for you to explore on rainy days, there’s also plenty to do from museums to caves, or how about spending some time riding a steam train through the forest.

Peacefully tucked away within a cluster of farm buildings and cottages this beautifully finished shepherds hut offers a friendly welcome. Set within an enclosed garden with double wooden steps up to double French doors. Inside, the accommodation has been finished to a high standard offering a hand-made solid wooden kitchen with electric two ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and Belfast sink, for dining a fold-down table with two wooden chairs, and for relaxing two comfortable armchairs and wall-mounted TV. Stay cosy at a touch of a button with underfloor heating and when the day is done you can climb into the double bed and enjoy garden views come morning.
