”Loved the short walk to shops, restaurants, museum, beach, The Red Lion is truly in the middle of everything…a great location. Having in parking on site was great, and we we happy to get a spot. The charming decor and balcony looking towards the sea was delightful, though our tight schedule only gave me about 15 minutes sitting there.”
”Honestly it’s a dump. Tiny dirty rooms. Smelly pub with bad food. The location on the sea front is perhaps its benefit but it’s in a parking lot. Avoid”
”The accommodation was very compact but the bedroom was good with a very comfortable bed. There is no parking for the property but 2 hours available on road parking outside if you are lucky enough to get a space, it is free overnight from 6 pm till 8 am. There is public car parking nearby but quite pricey. It's very close to town centre and beach a bit of a hill so need to be reasonably fit.”
”The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink.
Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. ”
”We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem”
”The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road.”
