The Space:

Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, Sandy Dog Lodge offers a bright and welcoming coastal-inspired interior throughout. Located within Shorefield Country Park, perfectly positioned between the New Forest National Park and the stunning beaches of Milford-on-Sea.



This smart cream cladded lodge welcomes holidaymakers into an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen space, with plenty of windows on three sides, providing this main living area with an inviting and luminous feel.



The kitchen comes equipped with plenty of storage cupboards for your stay with a host of cookware, dinnerware, utensils, and appliances — including a fridge freezer, gas oven with grill and four burners, microwave, and a filter coffee maker. There's also a clothes airer stowed above the fridge space.



Opposite the kitchen is a simple matching dining set for four finished in cream, with padded seats for comfort.



The lounge space is a cosy nook showcasing a generous L-shape blue sofa opposite a smart TV, with a deep pile rug underfoot and a fireplace for the cooler months. In the summer, the doors slide open up to allow air to flow through. The windows are furnished with netting and thick quality curtains for warmth, privacy and room darkening. There’s also books, children’s toys and a floor-standing fan unit.



The first bedroom along the hallway is a twin single room, with two small single beds ideal for children and teens. This cosy room features a wardrobe with drawers underneath, bedside shelving, and a wall-mounted fan.



The next room is a family shower room, with walk-in shower, toilet, vanity unit with basin and storage cupboard, and a mirrored cabinet above.



The rear and last bedroom is a lovely master ensuite, and comes with a kingsize bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, a good sized wardrobe with drawers, and a corner vanity table, mirror & stool. Also in the wardrobe is a handy iron & board. The ensuite WC contains a toilet, basin, shelving and a mirrored cupboard.



The outdoor decking area, which is fully gated and safe for children, provides the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, dine al fresco or relax after a day exploring the coast and countryside. It comes with a small outdoor table and chairs for four to soak up the sun on the rear side of the lodge. There’s a private balcony on the front side of the lodge too, connecting the lounge through sliding doors, which opens up this space further during good weather.



The main facilities at Shorefield are only a hop, skip and jump away from this lodge! In the other direction the outdoor swimming pool and play area are also very close.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of the entire lodge and decking area throughout their stay. Alongside to the resort.
