”Facilities all fine but staff are exceptional”

”The hotel is undergoing a total refurb after being used to house migrants for the last few years building work was still under way whilst the stayed at the hotel . The hotel is being refurbished to a standard and is clean and tidy , food and overall service levels in the bar area need attention . Perfect place for a 1 night business trip with a good gym and pool ”

”And mid aged receptionist was slow. Was not to bothered that people were waiting in a queue waiting to be attended too. Too busy talking about personal life. Bar and breakfast staff were really pleasant and helpful Overall the property can do with an update. Had creaky floors in my room . Squeaky mattress and a loose toilet. ”

”We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. ”

”Lovely hotel but a bit dated. Needs some good cleaning and fixing up. Staff were okay but not as friendly as I would expect and the corridors and common areas weren't the cleanest (mainly dusty)”

”Arrived 30 minutes before check-in and appreciated we were early. We were told we couldn’t check in as there were others waiting but they would call us when we could and to wait in the bar which is at the reception area. Others left the bar to check in and we were not called. Then people arrived and checked straight in. After this happened a couple of times, I asked if we could check in yet. We could! No apology for not calling us forward. Room was dated and smelt of stale smoke in the...
