”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII! Thank you kindly, we enjoyed totally!”

”Beds are huge and the staff are jolly and helpful providing excellent service. Communal lounge, dining room and grounds all kept really nice.
Spa is more functional than luxurious but good for the price.
Only negatives were:
- both me and my friends eggs at breakfast tasted very vinegar-y.
- Each time the extractor fan was on in my room it was drawing in bad smells eg sewage and cabbage cooking smells.
However overall we really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the staff for making it...

”Free upgrade nice room for price I went to the Carlton hotel and had to leave disgusting hotel and Expedia shouldn’t be offering that hotel HMO, I had to book this place last minute staff were nice and helpful I will probably use again when am heading over to Europe ”

”This was a really disappointing day. We found the rooms were not very clean very dusty dirty corridors the whole hotel is dated. The problem is the cleanliness. When we had breakfast, the plates were not clean. The whole pool area was dirty. The toilet et cetera were not very nice. Wi-Fi was okay. Breakfast wasn’t great. The milk had gone off in the large container and I told them it had gone off and it took about 20 minutes for them to replace. For a four star hotel, it wasn’t a nice...

”Great stay here. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was great and the swimming pool was an added bonus. Definitely recommend staying here.”
