”Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.”

”The bathroom light was falling from the ceiling. The floorboards around the bathroom needed painting the room was cobwebs in the ceiling sand on the floor couldn’t you go without shoes? Phone did not work no directions for the TV overall a very poor room.”

”the hallway’s, stairs , and elevator was filthy they all needed to be vacuumed. My balcony screen door wasn’t functional if I wanted to keep my balcony door opened I couldn’t because the screen was ripped wide open! our linens had stains everywhere! this is why I bring my own blankets and pillows. the room door kept banging every time people would go up and sown the stairs. on a positive note the staff was very friendly.”

”Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”

”1st...just trying to get the door opened..they give you the code but don't tell you about the other buttons that need to be pushed/used...2nd...you had to body slam yourself to get the door open. The carpet and floor are so warped the door wouldn't open or close without a body slam..the door wouldn't lock . The 4 batteries in the door fell out when you either open or closed the door..3rd..it was very damp in the room..4th..no hot/cold symbols on the water handles..it took awhile to figure out...
