”We understand that some places are outdated and a little run down from time and use but this was beyond that. The room was not cleaned throughly, there was a phone but it did not work. the cord for the hair drier hanging on the wall was caked in dust from never being wiped off. The light switches also caked with gunk, a puddle of pee on the base of the toilet and some gunk that came out of the jets when we turned on the jacuzzi. ”The place has a great price value ratio, the staff at the reception could be friendlier but the not-too-welcoming communication style was similar across Mackinaw City so it might not be the hotel’s fault. ”Our stay ok.. there was no breakfast.. The pool area is very poorly maintained.There was stuff torn apart, stuffed kids could hurt themselves on it really needs to be maintenance.
