”We stayed here in fall 2023. Location is very convenient to Ribiera Brava (5 minutes by car; we did not take a bus). Great restaurants in town Beautiful clifftop views of the ocean. Private pool (for the 3 units). Very nice ocean view balcony for wine etc. Make sure you let the hosts know when you are arriving as they need to open the front gate (our fault!). Ample parking inside the gate. Wonderful clean facilities. Breakfasts excellent in a common kitchen (too many choices…the pastries...

”A lovely small hotel situated above Funchal near the main cable car station. The views over Funchal to the sea are very special. Exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is generous and varied. We had a comfortable and well equipped suite which had its own small balcony and a patio shared with a neighbouring suite. ”Alles in Allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Man sollte einen Mietwagen nehmen, obwohl der Bus direkt vor dem Haus hält. Das guesthouse liegt etwas abseits. Parkplätze auf der Straße vorhanden, schnelles Internet, Satellitenfernsehen, Frühstück kann Vorort gebucht. Super lecker. Eier von eigenen Hühnern, Obst zum Teil aus dem Garten. ”Wonderful place to stay in a lovely part of Madeira. Jorge and Gabriel are the perfect hosts, so welcoming and pleasant with loads of recommendations and great communication. Rooms are clean with lovely facilities, great pool and the views are heavenly. Good location, less than 5 mins drive to the beach in Calheta. Highly recommended.”
