”Stayed in March/ April with partner and teenage son. We found the villa with no problem using Google Maps link provided and checked in easily. We were surprised at how big it is! There were only three of us, but it would be more than big enough for a family of six. We found it to be very well-equipped, with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was lovely, and heated to a good temperature - the worst bit was getting out, particularly if it was a bit windy! Car hire is essential...

”We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira.”

”Not often in life do you get to stay in a property of this quality in such a special location. The weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed two super weeks exploring Arco Da Calheta and Madeira. The pool and pool area at Casa Das Flores are amazing, we used the pool every day. The villa has everything you need come rain or shine. Access to walks and shops/bars from the door also a bonus. Our only critique was the noise from locals who appeared to be racing their cars at night near the property....

”Carlota was very helpful with everything we needed. It’s a beautiful Villa great for a group of friends like we had. Great local restaurant just down the hill 3 minute drive or 15 minutes to Funchal. It also has everything you need to stay home and cook or catch of the day and just hang out.”

”The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. ”Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help.”

”Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay at the Cliffside Villa. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac just outside of the precious town of Ponto Do Sol. The house is spacious and easily accommodates a large group. The view of the sea from the pool and balconies is incredible. Communication with Carlos/Caty was quick and easy. ”Although a bright and pleasant house, it is showing signs of a lack of maintenance, with numerous marks on the walls, several lights that don't work (along with the clock and the safe), doors which constantly rattle with air movement, handrails with peeling paint that comes off on your hands and clothing, and a front door lock which doesn't latch. The location is good, with great sea views, and even though the airport is so close you can see down onto the runway, the noise is not excessive....

”Huoneen oven alla sentin rako, joten kaikki äänet käytäviltä kuului huoneeseen. Asiasto ja ruokailuvälineet kuluneita ja osittain eriparia. Pyyhkeiden vaihdossa aina jokin pyyhe puuttui. Hotellin vieressä rakennustyömää josta ei mainittu hotellin sivustolla. Allasalue tylsä. Aamiainen ja päivällinen ok, mutta ruokasali meluisa. Emme mene toista kertaa. Kolme tähteä,on kolme tähteä.”

”Hotelli oli tosi mukava ja palvelun taso oli hyvä. Lähialue oli hiljainen ja hotellille pääsy vaatii kuljetuksen. Hotellilla on riittävästi palveluita jopa kohtuuhintainen pikku kauppa. Jos kuitenkin haluaa vähän enemmän nähdä niin on hyvä illa auto vuokrattuna.”
