”We spend here for two weeks and it was so wonderful. The place was exactly like in pictures and the view was almost more beautiful. It was nice and quiet and everyone was so helpful. We didn't have car, so needed good shoes for hiking, but the bus goes also quite near and quite often.”

We flew from Phoenix Az to see family there in Madeira . With a few suggestions it’s a good place to stay and would do so again …”

”We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here!”

”Wonderful outdoor space, the pool as well as seating areas and tables. We ate lots of meals out there. Great location. Attentive hosts, brought us everything we requested. Could use some tlc but overall very nice (had to keep windows closed at night to keep mosquitos out, not ideal). ”
