The hotel was excellent, close to haram, always had a sweet scent, as soon as i called the front dest they brought what ever i needed, good variety for breakfast, nothing is missing from being in a 5 star many times.

The room for the hotel was comfortable and clean. The location is quite convenient to the Prophet’s Mosque. I have a mixed feeling with this hotel based on their staff. On arrival, the staff who completed our check-in was kind and hospitable. However, I tried to speak to another staff at reception (Faris) and he was rude and to some extent discriminatory. He refused to acknowledge or check on my request and said I should speak to the lady next to him but I observed him speaking to multiple males very kindly after me. I questioned whether his response to me was that way because I am female, black or not older. I spoke to another reception staff on his opposite (male) who assisted. I am quite surprised at his behavior and recommend the hotel advice and train their staff to acknowledge, assist and treat all jguests equally regardless of race or gender.

The property was about 5 to 7 minutes to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina. The property is not well maintained as it is old. The AC was not working and it took the reception to even look into this and than they sent a AC mechanic who just cleaned the filter. This did not solve the problem and we were without a proper AC for 5 days of our complete trip. The reception also does not understand reservations. Our Expedia reservation was clearly booked with a room with 4 beds and we paid for that 4th bed as in a bigger room. They did provide us a room with 5 beds as a make shift, although our booking was done 5 months in advance and they provided us a room with the AC not working. That is poor service by front office, reception staff and the hotel management. The hotel management should focus on good customer service, keeping the hotel maintained to its adequate 4 star standards which they claim to have. Else the 4 star rating should drop to a 3 star or 2 star and the price will drop with the drop of the star rating. Poor room quality, poor customer service at the reception front office

I was expecting a lot from this hotel, considering the rate but aside from SOME friendly staff like Faris, there is nothing good about this hotel. 1. Property - very run down and not very well maintained. 2. Wifi - doesnt' work most of the time, had to work in PST timezone and no-one was around to help get connected. 3. Showers and drain system doesn't work. 4. Breakfast is so so at BEST. I would recommend only staying here if you get it super cheap.

Friendly staff, clean room but during check out unfortunately, we had to wait for 30 mins outside of our hotel room to bring our luggage’s downstairs as the room lock wasn’t working. But overall a very good and a pleasant stay. 8.5/10

There were some admin issues by the hotel, which was embarassing for my family to say the least, and their compensation for this would be well below expectation. A,C was making a noise overnight. But other than this it was very nice, great staff, clean, spacious, great location

We had some issues with this hotel in terms of cleanliness and the smell of the rooms. We had to change our executive room because a constant cooking smell was coming through the vents, like we were in a kitchen. We asked reception to look into this but they just gave us air freshener. The rooms are dirty and dated, we moved a bedside table for more space and found dirt and fake lashes under it. When we moved rooms we were downgraded to a quadruple room , very disappointing. The hallways smelt like food and cigarettes too, we think people cook food in their rooms and housekeeping use air fresheners to mask the smell. The lifts are terribly slow and always had to wait minutes for them to come. A major refurbishment is needed. This is definitely not a 4* hotel and we will tell all our friends and family to avoid at all costs.

The property is very convenient and comfortable although the property has a policy of not confirming the stay till a day before your arrival which was strange. And also the staff aren’t as forthcoming with their hospitality and seemed not happy working there
