Älä anna näyttää rakennuksen hämätä, kun avaat oven ja huoneiston löydät itsesi moderni ja viihtyisä 3 kahden makuuhuoneen asunto, jossa tilava olohuone / ruokailuhuone, 50 tuuman taulutelevisio ja langaton Internet- .

Great stay!

We loved this place! In a great neighborhood...check out the Russian restaurant next door....but near lots of great shops and places to eat and totally walkable to all over Madrid. There were 4 of us and this place was the perfect size. Yes you had to walk up the 4 flights of stairs but that really was no problem. Jose was great...great communication, we mistakingly set off the alarm (sorry again!) but Jose was totally understanding and it was no problem. Thanks again for a great stay!

Een fijn appartement in het centrum

Voor de 3 nachten is het een prima appartement. Schrik niet erg van de straat en de andere bewoners in het complex. De woonkamer heeft geen ramen en balkon, dat is jammer. Maar je loopt zo het centrum in en dat is erg fijn. Het appartement is redelijk schoon met schoon beddengoed. WiFi en tv met Chromecast zijn prima.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Madrid. Mitten in Malasaña liegt die Wohnung sehr zentral. Wir konnten die "Highlights" zu Fuß erkunden.

Appartement bien situé et fonctionnel

Belle appartement spacieux, propre et fonctionnel. Ne pas se fier à l’immeuble l’appartement est cosi et chaleureux. A proximité de tout, chose pratique pour visiter Madrid. Situé au 4eme étages sans ascenseur. Nous avons passer un très bon séjour. Je recommande !

Great place right in the middle of town

This cute apartment is in the middle of Madrid, but in a small sideline neighborhood with cute tapas bars and cafes. It is walking distance to everything you want to see in old town Madrid and to lots of great food places. At the same time it is off the beaten path which makes it quiet. The apartment is on the 4th floor so you have to be able to make it all the way up! There is no elevator. But it does have AC and a washing machine. (2 out of the 3 bedrooms have AC with the last one by the bathroom a bit warmer, but we found a fan and with open window it was fine for my kids). The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need although if you are going to do a lot of cooking (which we didn't), you might not be fully satisfied with the cookware. For us it was perfect though! Instructions from the host on finding the place were easy to follow and if you like to travel by metro, few stations were in short walking distance. Furnishing is comfortable although not luxurious, which I loved considering that we travel with kids. Loved it overall!

In a quiet neighborhood but close to many restaurants and other attractions; perfect location!

My two adult sons and I stayed here for 4 days over Thanksgiving. The apartment is close to many restaurants and within walking distance of Plaza Mayor and many other attractions. Although we knew it was a 4 floor walkup there were still many more steps than we anticipated (82 exactly). So we felt good about indulging in food & drink since we got our exercise everyday. Jose was very responsive to our requests and was helpful with getting the heat turned on. Seems that someone had turned off the gas line over the sink so once we found that, then it was no problem to get the heat and hot water working. But Jose was ready to send a repairman over if needed. The beds are comfortable and it was nice to have 3 bedrooms. Overall the flat could use a little updating but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it.

spacious nice appartment and very well situated

We spent 3 nights in this apartment. It was very well located in the city center. The apartment is on the fourth floor without elevator but the access is very easy. The check in and check out were very simple. The apartment is very well equipped , with 3 bedrooms , one with a small bed. It is bright, it is quiet and we did not hear any noise coming from the street. Jose, the owner, is very accommodating and friendly . The area is really nice, with lots of bars , restaurants and shops nearby. Tribunal Metro Station is a 5/10 minute walk.

Agradable estancia en el centro de Madrid

Somos una familia con 2 niños que pasamos un fin de semana en Madrid el pasado 25 de septiembre. La visita a Madrid era de carácter familiar más que turista (ya conocemos Madrid de anteriores visitas). El barrio de Malasaña se encuentra muy céntrico y con un ambiente muy agradable, que en los últimos años se ha puesto de moda sobre todo entre la gente joven y con inquietudes culturales. La propiedad en la que estuvimos se encuentra en una calle bastante tranquila dentro de un barrio bullicioso y con ambiente. No tuvimos problemas con los ruidos durante el fin de semana con lo cual el descanso estuvo garantizado. La casa está bien acondicionada y lo mejor que podemos decir de ella es que las fotos de la misma son un fiel reflejo de la realidad. Es cierto que es una 4ª planta sin ascensor y esto lo puede hacer incómodo para determinadas personas aunque bien es cierto que ya está advertido en la página. Siendo 4 la verdad es que nos sobraba una habitación que por cierto también es perfectamente utilizable para otras dos personas. En definitiva una estancia agradable y sin sorpresas.

Great Location, good size, needs some maintenance.

This property is in a great location with lots of restaurants and grocery stores within a block. It's a great home base for getting around the city and sightseeing. There's lots to see within 30-minute walking distance and there are 2 subway stations really close by. The property itself was a good size (we had 5 people staying there) and it was suitable for our needs, but it's definitely in need of a bit of maintenance. The kitchen cabinets and the bathroom tiles have seen better days and could use replacing but overall it was a pleasant stay for a short time. The owner was always very helpful and made collecting keys and getting into the apartment a breeze. Overall it was a good place for us to stay.

Great Location

We enjoyed this apartment. The location was fantastic- on a quiet side street right in the center of the busy Malasana neighborhood. It was a 15-20 min walk to the center and there were plenty of good local restaurants (Calle 30 around the corner for meat lovers). There was a Carrefour express down the block for groceries. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the building is a bit sketchy. There are a couple of pensiones on the lower floors with odd, but relatively harmless older men coming in and out of the building. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Well located, homely and good value apartment.

We didn't get to meet the owner Jose Truchado, but didn't need to, as everything was well organised getting to and into the apartment and with his instructions and local tips. The Malasaña area is very central and pretty bohemian trendy with lots of different, arty bars and restaurants on your doorstep. It was as quick to walk than catch Metro around the centre of Madrid, being only 5 minutes walk from Gran Via and 10 minutes from Sol and Plaza Mayor. The apartment was on the 4th floor and has no lift, which could be a problem for some, but we didn't notice it. Given it was on the top floor, there was no balcony or external view. There was a view over the internal courtyard. The apartment itself consisted of 2 decent sized double bedrooms. One separated from the lounge by a sliding door and the other off the corridor. Off the kitchen was the 3rd bedroom which has a single bed, with another pull out single bed underneath it. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 teenage kids, so we used this pull out bed, but there wasn't too much room to move around, once the 2 single beds are both out. Bunk beds ( one bed above the other ) would probably be more efficient use of space in this room. Given the area has a number of late night bars the apartment was really quiet at night. Some of the decor was a little dated and tired, like the kitchen, but functioned fine. The lounge had a 'lived in' feel, but was really comfortable. The large TV and DVD player worked well and there were plenty of UK plug sockets available. There was Cable TV, but only a couple of channel in English. Not a problem for us, as the only real TV we watched was Spanish football. The dishwasher was out of order at the time we visited, but this didn't cause us a problem as we mainly ate out. The apartment heating worked well ( it gets cold in Madrid in February ! ). For Summer there was A/C in the lounge and in 2 double bedrooms. The smaller single room had a fan unit. One travel trip I would recommend that we stumbled across in Madrid was to visit the Gourmet Experience on the 9th Floor of the El Corte Inglés next to Callao Metro. It's free to visit for some great views of the city and Gran Via and also a great spot to eat /drink on the balcony. Also try rowing on the lake in the Retiro Park for around 5 Euros. Overall we had a great week in the apartment and would definitely recommend it to families or groups. It's in a great location and was pretty good value compared to other places.

Great apartment in central Madrid

Our family of 5 have just returned from a stay in this great city central city apartment. It was in a quiet street in a buzzing neighbourhood, was good value for money and suited our needs perfectly. It was easy to use public transport or walk to all the main tourist attractions. The flat is very modern and well equipped, there is an efficient air-conditioning system, and also a HUGE flat screen TV and wireless Internet - our grown up kids loved it. The owner is incredibly helpful and provided some very good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing in the area. You do need to be aware that it is on the 4th floor and you should be relatively fit to climb the stairs.

Fantastic place in central Madrid

We just came back from our visit to Madrid and stayed in this great apartment, my friends and I just loved it!! The apartment is cozy, spacious and has all the amenities that we needed for our stay. It was so nice to know that after a long day being out and about we had the big sofa and a huge TV waiting for us, afterwards we would go to one of the nice restaurants that are in the area nearby to end one of the perfect days of our trip. Madrid is a fun city, there are many things to do and see but the city comes alive at night, when the many bars and restaurants are buzzing with people eating tapas and nice Spanish food. We also saved a lot of money by staying in this place, being so central we never needed a taxi to go anywhere and it's just a short walk away from 3 subway stations so getting to the airport or train station was really easy. I totally recommend this place!!

Very Nice Experience

My family and I stayed in this nice flat in the middle of November, Madrid can be a very cold city but this flat was warm, nice and cozy, with the homey feeling we were looking for. The flat is very modern, it has a HUGE flat screen TV and wireless Internet, and my daughters loved it. The owner is very helpful and he provides some very good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing places in the area which is most of what there is to see in Madrid as the flat is really central. Although the street where the flat is located is very quiet the area is vibrant with bars, restaurants and coffee shops, all with excellent food. Also you can still see some of the old fish, fruit and groceries shop, everything looked fresh and beautiful I would highly recommend this property if you want to be in a central area where you don't need to use the car or public transport to move around.

Excellent location in Madrid Central

Our family of five stayed here for two nights in April. The apartment was a walk up on the 4th floor, which was a bit of a struggle with the suitcases but otherwise ok. The location was fantastic, close to a good metro line for getting to and from Atocha station and the airport. It was in a quiet street and only a few minutes walk into the centre of town. A small supermarket was at the end of the street and lots of other small neighbourhood stores nearby. The owner was fantastic to deal with, very obliging and always prompt to reply to any queries. The apartment was roomy for the centre of Madrid and as can be seem from the photos decorated in a cool funky way. It could have been a bit cleaner, but I think there had just been a change in the person looking after the apartment. Would recommend this apartment and certainly look at staying here again were we to return to Madrid.

Perfect place to stay in Madrid. Very central

I was traveling around Spain with 5 other friends and we wanted to stay in a proper home in Madrid rather than a hotel. This apartment was the perfect solution, modern, spacious and extremely central, we never took a taxi or barely used the subway except when we were lazy. The apartment is quite big for european standars and the six of us didn't have any problem moving around, the kitchen was big and convenient and it allowed us to prepare some meals when we didin't want to go out to eat. The apartment is in a quiet street but the neighbourhood is thriving with restaurants and tapas bars, as well as lot's of designer stores. We really enjoyed staying in this apartment and it will be our choice next time we go to Madrid

Beautiful Apartment in Madrid a real Home Away

My Family and I wanted to visit Madrid and stay in a place that was central and where we could enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere in Madrid. This place was perfect, so central you can literally walk everywhere and in a safe and quiet area. Just a short walk away from modern restaurans and cool tapas places, staying here you can also enjoy Madrid's traditional life, where you can buy fresh food in local stores to cook it at home. I woud have loved to stay for a whole month in this apartment. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with Central heating as Madrid tends to be a bit cold in the winter, free wireless Internet was also a reason for choosing this place and it was certainly good. The apartment is very nicely decorated and big enough to fit 6 people on it. We loved Madrid and We loved this place, we will certainly come back!

Brilliant place, very central, we loved it!

We wanted to stay in Madrid for a couple of days during our Spanish holidays, we wanted to visit Museums and the traditional areas, enjoy the food and live the city. This apartment was perfect for that, we could have had a better time, the location was incredible, a quiet and safe street, extremely central and withing walking distance of everything that there is to see in Madrid. The owner was very friendly and came up with several suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to go. My family loved the place, my kids complained of the 4 floors the needed to climb up as there is no elevator, but walking upstairs was a good exercise for them. All in all an great experience we will definitely go back to Madrid and to this apartment.

Extremely nice!!

My colleagues and I were visiting Madrid for the Tourism fair FITUR, most hotels were fully booked and we wanted to stay somewhere very central and found this apartment. The apartment is super nice and comfortable, spacious rooms and beds that shouldn't envy a 5 star hotel bed. Every room was nicely decorated. Free wireless internet made things so much easier as we could work at the apartment. A big plus is the location as it's in a quiet street but extremely central so you can walk anywhere. Lot's of nice restaurants nearby

Perfect, modern and cosy place in Madrid Central

We were a group of six girls in our mid 30s, being only girls it was important for us that the places was very central and in a safe area, and this apartment fit that description perfectly. As it was so close to restaurants and bars we didn't have to spend money on taxis which is always a big part of the expenses and in spite of being so close to a going out area the street that apartment is in is very quiet so we weren't bothered by noises at night. The apartment itself is beautiful, so nice! to double bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with two small beds was perfect to host the six of us. Complimentary WIfi internet was very helpful to plan our days. It also has a big kitchen where we cooked breakfasts and some dinners so we saved a lot of money on that as well. We really had the best experience staying in this apartment and I can't wait to go back

Cozy and very central

My friends and I rented this apartment so we could spend New Year's Eve at Sol in Madrid, I must say that we had a blast and this apartment fit perfectly our plans. It was big enough to host the six of us and central enough so we didn't have to use any taxis during our entire stay. Decor was nice and modern and I would deffinitily recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy Madrid
