Loistava paikka viettää rauhallinen löhöloma!
Olimme täällä maaliskuussa 2017 reilun viikon ja voin sanoa että viihdyimme erittäin hyvin. Hotelli alue on erittäin mukava ja viihtyisä, palvelu toimi suurinpiirtein ajatuksen voimalla ja henkilökunta on tosi ystävällistä. Alueella on monta tasokasta ravintolaa joista saa loistavaa ruokaa. Ehdottomasti voin suositella muillekin.

Enimmäkseen positiivista
Uusi hotelli rannan tuntumassa. Huoneet nykyaikaiset ja siistit. Palvelu erinomaista muutoin, mutta kaikki prosessit eivät uutuudesta johtuen olleet vielä henkilökunnan hallinnassa. Hotellissa oli hyvä turvapalvelu: securitymiehet päivystivät koko ajan rannalla, joka oli hyvin hoidettu ja viihtyisä. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja heillä oli pääsääntöisesti positiivinen asenne työhön. Asiakaskunta oli eri kulttuurien ja kansallisuuksien sekoitusta. Aamupala oli hyvä, mutta puolihoidon päivällinen/illallinen toisti Vasco-ravintolassa liiaksi samaa kaavaa. Samoin allasravintolan valikoima lounaaksi oli aivan liian yksipuolinen.

I arrived at STORY having spend few days on Praline and La Digue thinking that since I had such a wonderful time at the resorts on those 2 islands, my stay at STORY should be far more superior having booked myself into a beach villa. I was very disappointed having paid a high price to stay in a beach villa which lacked attention to detail by the housekeeping department. There was a fruit basket in the room which included raw inedible mangoes that the knife could not cut into them because it was so bland I couldn't even slice an apple. I wondered what's the point of placing raw hard mangoes in a fruit basket, wasting the fruit. There wasn't a note pad and pencil or pen I could use and most annoying was the lack of turned down service. Upon checking into the STORY they informed me of their Creole buffet on the same evening which I found very poor and rather boring.I know what Creole cuisine should look and taste and this wasn't anywhere near it. The following morning breakfast was a disaster. The attitude of the staff was so distant, unsmiling and unfriendly, anticipating what you would say with raised eyebrows without saying a word. The buffet display was poor and the coffee tasted so bad and bitter it must have been standing there for a long time. When I found out I could order an Americano, it arrived 10 minutes later with the waitress holding the cup by the handle, placing it in front of me without saying a word, sans the saucer and the teaspoon.

Very nice location on the beach but the beach is very busy with public access. Good facilities with gym, tennis restaurants etc. Nice bar. Sadly we found it dirty in places and the general areas were a bit úsed'. our room was nice but again not very clean( shower mouldy )_ Staff were good and helpful but let down by the state of things, we left early an were re-imbursed for nights not spent( although we were offered an upgrade it was not what we were looking for) plenty of other places to stay that were better, we stayed in two others for the duration of our stay and they were great.

We've stayed at the Story hotel around New Year tome for 5 days. Very comfortable rooms with cosy beds, spacious bathrooms and great balconies to enjoy the views of the ocean, swimming pool and the courtyard. Nice surrounding area of Beau Vallon Beach with restaurants and all sorts of stores

I enjoyed my stay at the Story. Rooms are well appointed, bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had issues with hot water - it worked for one day when i complained but the next day was back to luke warm. This is not a good thing. Pool is great. Beach area is small. Breakfast was good but limited if staying for more than a few days. Food in the restaurants is very expensive and we ate out each night. Finally i was disappointed with the policy of not refunding for lost nights. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days later than our reservation. They would not give us a refund even though this was not our fault. There was no compensation offered and i find this quite annoying for a 5 star hotel. Check-in could have gone more smoothly.

STORY was the 5th of 5 hotels we stayed at on our Seychelles honeymoon. The grounds were beautiful and lush, the beach was easily accessible and the pools looked nice although we didn’t use them. Communication with the hotel was a challenge prior to arrival as they didn’t respond to any emails, and while their the WhatsApp messaging service - similarly non-responsive. Oddly the room was designed for 2 twin beds, but they pushed the 2 together to call it a King Room. The bathroom door was half opaque meaning that the top third the door was see-through which was an odd design. They were wonderfully accommodating to our dietary restrictions. They made gf pancakes on the spot for my husband, and had special vegan menus at Eden and Trader Vic’s. Get the Mai Tai at Trader Vic’s!! Overall a wonderful stay aside from those small things

OVERSPRICED
Hotel is OVERPRICED for what it offers, definitely not a 5 star, service average some staff are not friendly at all, they seems to doing a favor for you. Breakfast is the worst part, coffee is terrible, fruits are limited and tasteless.

The experience of staying at this resort was unique. From location, to staff attentiveness, to food options. This place has everything to offer for all requirements. The room was spacious with a big balcony. The choice of several restaurants with great food and good customer service. The option of laying by the pool or walking a few feet further to the beach, it hasgot it all.

Magnifique hotel avec un bel emplacement.
On y a séjourné une nuit avec ma famille. On a eu la chance d'être surclassé en Villa Beach Pool alors que nous avions réservé une suite Junior. Les hôtesses ont vraiment été aux petits avec mes enfants. J'y retournerai tout les jours les yeux fermés. Merci à vous.
