”Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our room was beautiful with a view over the river. It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the window seat in the bay window. The bathroom was enormous and boasted both bath and walk in shower. Unfortunately the basin taps were very difficult to turn off and trickled overnight but we were assured that this would be looked at and received sincere apologies for the inconvenience. ”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII!
