”We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%”

From knowing all of the local events and providing you options to warming up a newly purchased lobster (complete with a lesson on how to extract the most meat possible) I look back on my time at the Fiddle and the Sea with fondness and a greater understanding of the history of the area. ”The property is right on the water. You can actually swim from the back of the property. The owners are always present and are extremely helpful. I would stay there again just because of them! The rooms are a bit dated, but they are working to improve them. We loved our stay.
