Lomamajat – Malawi

”Hyvä majapaikka. Ainoa miinus, että kaukana kaikesta. Vain Wildlife centre lähietäisyydellä.”

”I cannot recommend Kumbali Country Lodge enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a peaceful garden sanctuary. The lodge is set on a beautiful working farm, with a game conservation program which gives it a unique, rustic-chic charm that you just won't find in a standard city hotel. The suite was spacious, well decorated and extremely clean. The lodge staff went out of their way to make me feel very welcome. The onsite restaurant had a varied menu and the food was...

”It nice place clean and comfortable to stay in Lilongwe ”

”Lovely location overlooking Lake Malawi. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast in the morning could have included local fresh fruit like water melon, paw paw, guava, pineapple. Very cheap to buy at the local market. The kitchen was away from the dining area so the cooked breakfast especially, would have been hotter if the plates had covers over them when carried down to the dining area. One big improvement they could make is to supply mugs, a kettle, tea and coffee in the rooms. Another...

”The wifi was a bit inconvenient -- since it didn't reach the rooms and required getting new codes when you wanted to use it.”

”This is an amazing hidden gem! The name "tents" underdescribes the facilities: these are beautiful cabins that would put some hotels to shame. And the cabins have private showers and bathrooms. The facility also has a very small pool. Sandi, the owner, is caring, the food is very good, and the tours in the Park with the Park rangers are informative and a great experience. I saw a lot of animals, including elefants, monkeys, antilopes and crocodiles, but I understand that I was lucky and it...

”The hotel reception couldn't give us the room we had booked, but gave us a room without a mountain view without saying anything. When I pointed this out they said that the building with such rooms is undergoing renovations and is not ready yet. Yet the hotel had that option bookable! In other words, what wasn't there was for sale! When I demanded the price difference back they said that it wasn't possible because the hotel had to first receive payment from "Hotels.com" in order to be able to pay...

”Very amazing so clean beyond my expectations ”
