”Loved our stay, everything was clean and staff were friendly!”

”Bathroom was spotless. Room was a little sticky/dusty in the far corners but beds were clean and comfortable. Room was large with everything you need. Room had a view of the river, which was unexpected and a bonus. Breakfast was a good standard hotel breakfast (waffles, yoghurt, eggs, cereal, toast). Staff were very friendly. Location was convenient to downtown via car but probably easily walkable unless you have a mobility impairment. ”

”Horrible not worth the price”

”We did have a good time and the staff were really nice. We were really disappointed because one of the reason we stayed here was for the pool and both nights we stayed the pool was closed by 6pm even though it was supposed to be open until 10pm. There also wasn’t any wifi and limited service due to switching providers.”

”Very clean and comfortable room. Checking in was fast and the lady checking us in was very professional, yet very warm and friendly. The info about the motel said "Free breakfast", but it was just fruit (apples), muffins, breakfast/granola bars and juice and coffee. Not quite what I was expecting, but it was fine.”

”If there had been somewhere else to go, I would have left. Many parents did find different accommodations. There was hair in the bed and towels hung on the back of the door. It was obviously not clean. Hair in the shower. Other parents found Kleenex in their bed.The staff was nice however they were often unavailable either by phone or standing in the main office for 15 to 20 minutes with nobody there.”

”Room was not good . Not as described on the website. Not even body wash topped upped in the washroom. Room was not good. The tv and appliances were old. No essential supplies ”

”Staff were friendly however the property was not maintained very well very run down and very dirty. First room smelt like cigarettes and had a plastic bag taped over the smoke detector with mousetraps all over the place. Second room was alright but had a weird smell and saw a cockroach. Luckily I saw no bedbugs. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming… very limited and everything tasted pretty dry and stale. Hopefully they renovate the place and everything improves as there’s a reason the parking...

”Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to.”

”Great location. Close to highways, casino and the downtown area. Short walking distance to pretty much everywhere you want to go. Watch out for fast moving traffic near the hotel if you should walk anywhere. I'll go back.”

”Pangea House is lovely and very centrally located. The owners are very welcoming and the house is decorated beautifully yet is very comfortable. Our room was great and the breakfast was exceptional. We really appreciated Geoff’s flexibility. We particularly enjoyed being able to play Scrabble by the fire. Highly recommend.”
