”The room was clean. Check in was pleasant although Prosecco a bit flat. The menu offered in the room by the coffee facilities was totally inaccurate and bore no resemblance to the menu in the restaurant. The dishes came with potato but the side dishes were potato based and only one vegetable option -an unbalanced menu. The cod at dinner was badly cooked and inedible. A message was sent to the kitchen but there was no recompense or response. Overall dinner was highly expensive and not good value....

”We truly had the best stay at Whatley Manor, the room was gorgeous and so cosy, the staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgable. Spotlessly clean, the food was fantastic too!

”The perfect stay! Can't recommend more;10/10. Delightful historical, cosy, comfortable cottage yet with modern features. Cottage had everything needed for a week stay. Extra touches were made with Christmas decorations to celebrate the festive season and a couple of treats were much appreciated. Best possible location for making the most of the township. John is the ultimate host with excellent communication.Will definitely stay again if we return to the West Country. John proved what a...
