Motel by the lake
The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. The rooms were quite basic but all right for two nights (we visited the Doubtful Sound from Manapouri -- and that was great!) The breakfast options were quite good. WiFi hardly worked from the room ...

The owner was kind and helpful. Late arrival was easily arranged. Beautiful view across the lake to the snow-capped mountains.
