The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. Unexpected in a good way. Cabin was very comfortable, clean, and large. A great place for free spirited travellers to get away. The best part was the wonderful hospitality from the owner. I would gladly return to the Possum Lodge.

Pictures do not do the cabin justice. It’s a real sun trap with a great outdoor area. Extremely comfortable and cosy and only 5 minutes walk to the Church Bistro. Everything you need to be fully self catering.
