”Nice property, well maintained and updated, with immaculate landscaping and flowers. Very helpful friendly office staff. Would stay again.”

”The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace. We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service. Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room. All in all, our stay was exceptional. ”

”The room was adorable it was well decorated it had everything we needed. The water pressure was wonderful in the shower. You just felt like you ended your home. It was very welcoming and lovely. The snack room was wonderful had everything you needed to make breakfast. They kept plenty of snack in there. The room was nice and larger the bed was wonderful. I have figured out I am only 4 hours away from this hotel it would be wonderful to come back to. I am already planning another trip!”

”Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.”

”We visited during the summer on our road trip through New England. The town was completely dead. I can imagine it's wonderful in the winter but we were a bit disappointed. The hotel was very nice with good additional services. The spa seemed to be very small so during the peak season I would imagine it gets really growded. The staff was friendly and overall I'm happy with the place (+ we got the nigth at a bargain price). The breakfast was nothing to write home about.”

”My husband and I stayed at the Manchester View for 5 days while we were looking at houses. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and it was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and spacious we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend the Manchester View to anyone and if we ever have an overflow of relatives that come to visit, they will be staying at the Manchester View.”
