Pet friendly home in Saturnia

At this agriturismo, you can enjoy a little journey back in time without having to do without modern comforts. Here, you can experience the authentic atmosphere of a small farm dedicated entirely to producing produce for its own household and its guests. The farm has retained its natural character, and vines, olive trees, a selection of heirloom grains, fodder for the many animals, vegetables and fruit are all grown using traditional methods. In spring, there is also an abundance of wild herbs, mushrooms and asparagus.



The accommodation consists exclusively of detached stone cottages built using traditional materials such as wood and handmade terracotta. The cottages are set on a large lawn, spaced comfortably apart, and offer views across an unspoilt valley.



Guests have access to a small swimming pool in a secluded, fenced-off area, where they can cool off and relax. There are also simple outdoor games for communal use, including table football and table tennis (weather permitting), as well as a small fitness area with exercise bikes and a treadmill. There is also a communal area where you can socialise over board games, and, most importantly, the farm’s own restaurant, where you can sample the farm’s produce.



If you’d like, you can watch the food being prepared and/or take part in farm activities such as the grape harvest or the olive harvest. From Piandartino, you can easily reach the Cascate del Molino waterfalls, Saturnia with its famous thermal springs and spa, and the village of Saturnia, where you can enjoy a delicious ice cream. Montemerano, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana are also great places for day trips.



The Argentario coast is also ideal for a day trip, as is Monte Amiata.
