”Dee greeted us at the reception and was so friendly and helpful. We were offered a shuttle bus into the centre of town whenever suited us and did just that. We enjoyed a great meal at the Holbrook Hotel and also a shuttle back. The room was clean, neatly renovated and had free WiFi. We took advantage of the EV wall box charger directly outside the room. We did have a few issues with it but Dee helped sort out the problem of the charge cable not unlocking from the post by turning the power off....

”No welcome or smile. I said my surname, he said my 1st name. Handed me key & pointed us to room. Told me to leave key in room on leaving. And that was the total amount of conversation. Very poor.”

”Staff friendly. Room a bit dated but had all necessities. My family and i only stayed one night, and it was perfect for this. Also walking distance to the hotel for dinner and bakery for breakfast.”

”Have stayed a few times at this hotel and it's clean, comfy and convenient. Front desk staff great you with a warm hello on arrival. The room is well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of parking available. The local club is located next door and does great meals. ”

”I called to see if they could advise secure off Street parking. They were abrupt and unhelpful. We didn’t sleep a wink worried about our trailer on car, parked on the street. There was a group of youths walking past when we went out to check at 8.30pm. We left at 2.30am from worry. When we left there was plenty of available parking areas in the Motel off street parking. They just didn’t want to be helpful.”

”This was my second stay at this hotel. The room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable for the duration of the stay. The bathroom was also a good size. The carpet in the room had some stains, which I have also noticed at several other hotels during my travels in Australia. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A big plus was the location. Baylis Street offers plenty of shops and dining options within easy walking distance of the hotel. There is also a gas (petrol)...

”Room was dusty, no good for someone with respiratory conditions. Lift apparently stopped working the day before we got there, had to use the stairs. Cleaner was helpful and asked if we needed more towels the next day. We stayed 2 nights. Convenient location in the main street. Beds were lovely and comfortable. ”
