Welcome to Sunset Central Coast! With contemporary appeal and easy-flow open-plan layout, this is a home built to complement its position. Sun-kissed living spaces, polished timber floors and 2-storey design give it texture and character. With its magnetic pull, the pristine water views will draw you in with the realisation that this absolute waterfront playground is yours, to fish off your jetty, park your boat, or maybe just to sit, relax and unwind.

Features five spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living areas and enormous deck. Nearly every room in the house drinks in the direct water views. Fully equipped kitchen with appliances + kitchen necessities/basics.

This home is perfect for one or two families. A small dog is welcome, however please note that the property is not fenced.

"Sunset" sits on a level direct waterfront parcel of land between Newcastle and Sydney. Included with your holiday is beds for ten guests, Plasma TV and DVD player, fetch Box, BBQ, foosball table, pool table, ceiling fans in all rooms and huge private decks abound.

Launch your boat or Jet Ski from the boat ramp at the end of the street and moor it out the front of the house on your Jetty shared with the neighbour. Our waterfront property offers direct access to the water, making it a haven for boating enthusiasts. You can set sail and explore the coastal wonders at your leisure. 3 adults kayaks with life jackets, are provided for your enjoyment, however these are used at your own risk.

Shopping centres are a short drive as are restaurants and clubs. Beautiful beaches and national parks are within 10 minutes.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided for your convenience.

Important message for guests organising events.
We have a strict no party or events policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, so any type of events such as hens/bucks/schoolies/end of season sporting groups/birthday party celebration are not allowed. If you are unsure if your group falls into any of these categories please enquire before booking. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges, bond forfeited and/or eviction will apply.

PLEASE NOTE: All bookings are subject to the owners pre-approval and we endeavour to notify you of the status of your booking within 24hrs.

Another amazing stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay for a 5th year in a row. It’s a magical place to enjoy time with family and unwind. You feel relaxed from the minute you walk through the door. With endless water activities for the thrill seekers or sit back a read a book with one of the best views in lake Macquarie. We’ll be back again next year.

We had a fantastic holiday, the location on the lake was superb as was the accommodation, the communication with Kaitlyn was really good. Only downfall is lack of shade on rear deck from the afternoon sun. Will definitely return.

Perfect break for 2 families

Such a beautiful location by the lake for a relaxing weekend with friends. The kayaks, pool table and table football were all a hit ... as was the discovery of the bioluminescent algae! So pretty! The sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed for cooking was available. We all voted we would love to return to Sunset soon! PS; Worth noting that there is a house under construction next door but thankfully the builders took a break over the long weekend.

Girls weekend

The property was perfect for our girls weekend away. It had plenty of communal space inside and out for eating and sitting around. It was easy to put the kayaks in the lake with the direct access. There was also nice easy walks to parks, a couple of cafes and around the lake. We cooked all our own food and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outlook from the back of the house was beautiful.

Perfect setting for a family escape

We stayed at sunset central Coast for a 4th year in a row. With some new upgrades it’s provides more creature comforts that makes this place a perfect family escape. We enjoyed 10 days at this spectacular home and didn’t want to leave. It has everything you need to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and with it’s own jetty, enjoy all the water sports. We’ll be back again next year!

tranquil and relaxing

This is our 4th time here and we return to experience quite days fishing, family time sharing meals on the deck with a drink or two and generally relaxing. Beds/rooms are comfy and the main b/room has a particularly beautiful outlook. The location of the house with it's peaceful lake view + jetty is perfect for us. Most noise comes from the birds and, very tame, ducks! Thank you, Kaitlyn.

Beautiful lake front home

We all enjoyed spending time in this beautiful house on the lake. The house is spacious, comfortable and has been newly renovated cosmetically. Great activities for the family including fishing on the private jetty, water play in the lake for the kids and kayaking. Few things to take note of: the listing mentions a “clothes dryer” but there isn’t one which makes it quite hard to do laundry given the wet weather we’ve been experiencing. It’s a pet friendly home, however, note that there isn’t a side fence so pets are able to run out to the front from the backyard.

Great dog friendly getaway

We stayed over the long weekend with another family, check in was easy with code and place was clean. Needs to note the property is not gated at all something we found would have been helpful given we brought our little dog along to this getaway. TV needs to a smart TV or at least have chromecast as an option. Very peaceful location .

Enjoyable weekend with family

We had a great experience over the weekend with family at the holiday home. Kaitlyn accommodated is well even offering us a nearby location/late check out to make up for delays in property cleaning. However, we arrived on time and the cleaners were gone and Kaitlyn still honoured the late check out. Definitely happy to stay again - possibly when the weather is filled with a little more sunshine. But overall awesome weekend.
