Loved the decor & ordered the waterfall prints that were in the room when we got home to remind us of the waterfalls. Room did get hot (very warm weather when we stayed) but there was a fan & we probably hadn't got the velux windows open as far as they could go. ”Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included and was scrummy.
Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

”Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card.
The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads.
Plenty of storage for clothes etc.
Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep.
The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. ”
”Nice hotel in Llanwrytd Wells. We stayed here for one night for a wedding. The staff were great and service fantastic. The hotel is quirky in terms of decor but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Free parking is always a bonus as was the nice breakfast. The in-house brewery was a nice addition and the beer was great. Would definitely recommend!”
