Il Sonetto Boutique Apartment - Romance between Palazzo Te & Duke's Palace

Hello and Welcome from Il Sonetto, an elegant apartment in the historic center of Mantova.
The fully renovated and restored apartment is located within a mid 16th-century historic residence, between Palazzo Te and Palazzo Ducale.
It has been fully renovated and combines historical charm with modern comfort. It is situated in a quiet yet well-connected neighborhood, perfect for exploring the city on foot and for relaxation. The apartment offers artistic details, elegant design, and high-quality amenities that guarantee an authentic and comfortable stay.

The central location allows for easy walking access to the Renaissance jewel Palazzo Te with its recently renovated garden; the beautiful and lesser-known Church of Santa Teresa, the magnificent Basilica of Sant'Andrea, and numerous frescoed churches hidden along quiet alleys. A stroll through the heart of the old town leads to the majestic Palazzo Ducale, one of the largest in Europe with over 500 rooms, or to the elegant Palazzo d'Arco, rich in art and history.

The apartment is fully equipped and features high-quality bed, bath, and kitchen linens, dishes, cooking utensils, a washing machine, and a dryer (washer/dryer combo for added comfort). Cleaning service is provided every two days (depending on the length of stay), and additional services are available upon request.

The bed is equipped with a high-quality, Italian mattress measuring 33 cm in softness and support, ensuring restful sleep. A selection of pillows is available to meet the individual needs of each guest.

In line with the spirit of the apartment, there is consciously no television: an invitation to take a real break from daily routines. Here, guests are encouraged to slow down, relax, read a book, or listen to music in peace. A turntable with vinyl records and a USB stick with music for every taste, as well as a selection of books from our private library, are available. For guests who want to stay connected, there is, of course, free and fast Wi-Fi.
No worries about TV: for longer stays, a Google TV is available upon request.

The apartment has a comfortable, privat entrance.

Guests staying longer (minimum 3 nights) have the opportunity to be invited for tea or an aperitif in the charming courtyard of the residence, which is private and typically only available to our family.

A garage with a private box is available nearby, where you can securely park your car, locked and protected.

Upon request, we organize guided tours, cultural walks in Mantua and Verona, or in other regions such as Valeggio or Lake Garda, culinary experiences, and personalized shopping to make your stay unforgettable. These must be reserved in advance to ensure careful organization.
