Buttercup Bay Hideaway is a dreamy mountain-beach escape that sits on the north side of Manzanita. Tucked away amongst the trees and just a 10-minute walk from the beach, Buttercup Bay Hideaway offers both privacy and proximity on the Oregon Coast.

Multiple outdoor spaces invite you to breathe in the fresh air, scented of sea salt and pine trees. The front deck offers a dining table, perfect for your morning cup of coffee or al fresco evenings with a glass of wine. For a more private setting, retreat to the seating area off of the primary bedroom. A fire pit in the back of the house sets the scene for nights roasting marshmallows under the starry sky.

Inside, an open floor plan welcomes you with the perfect blend of a home-away-from-home feel and elevated accents. Soaring ceilings with expansive windows create an airy atmosphere, while cozy furnishings and a free-standing fireplace add a cozy touch. Settle into the plush sectional for a movie night after enjoying a home-cooked meal around the dining table. The fully equipped kitchen features sleek finishes and stainless steel appliances that make cooking a breeze.

Three comfortable bedrooms invite you to relax and recharge after a day exploring Manzanita. From outdoor adventures to leisurely strolls through town, Mist-Kissed is the perfect getaway for experiencing everything that the Oregon Coast has to offer.

Located right on the Oregon Coast Highway, Manzanita has long been considered one of the tiny treasures of the region with its quiet and charming vibe. The town is dotted with art galleries, boutiques, spas, and restaurants. Craft beer, cocktails, and farm-to-table cuisine are the norm. With stunning forests at Neahkahnie Mountain and seven miles of picturesque beaches, it attracts beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts. See the whole stretch of shore with a horseback ride along the ocean, or venture out for an afternoon of crabbing in Nehalem Bay. Adventurous spirits can paddle the Bay on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak, or try out kiteboarding, a favorite local pastime. For those who’d rather stay on land, wander the trails up to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain, or tee-off at the Manzanita Golf Course.

Home Truths:
- Please note this home does not have air conditioning, although it is very temperate throughout the summer months.
- Unfortunately, the rooftop deck is NOT accessible to guests.
- Firewood for the firepit is NOT provided by the homeowner. Guests need to provide their own firewood which can be purchased at any of the local grocery stores.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

Parking Details:
- The driveway accommodates parking for up to 3 vehicles.
- No garage.
- An additional car may park on the gravel pad, but must be off the street.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce it. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Very relaxing

We enjoyed our very relaxing stay in this property. A couple things to note: the king size bed mattress in the entry level bedroom was sagging a bit on the left side. It needs a new topper. Also, the dishwasher tends to whistle quite loudly when running. Other than that we enjoyed the home.
