Nestled between Laneda and Hallensted park on 3rd ave. Tucked away behind a lush landscape makes you feel like you are far away instead of right in town. Our favorite things to do are to walk to the health food store on the corner and there are always multiple trips to the "Little Apple" market for anything you need including homemade sandwiches and smore fixings for your beach campfire. The town of Manzanita has wonderful shops and dining.

BIKE: Bike rides are really fun here along the coast or explore Nehalem bay state park where you can enjoy bike trails and the beaches on the bay without ever having to leave the town of Manzanita or navigate heavy traffic.

SURF: Oswald West state park or " Shortys" or "Shortsands" is a 6 min drive from our house! Surfers are drawn to this magical cove all year long for protected waves. Oswald West State Park has a beautifully secluded sandy beach and miles of trails leading to breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. This vast, scenic treasure is without a doubt one of the most spectacular parks in Oregon.

HIKE: the trail up Neahkahnie Mountain offers breathtaking views. Enjoy this 3.9-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 18 min to complete but the views are worth it!!

GOLF: Stroll down to Manzanita Links for 9 holes or 18 holes. You can book online.

TENNIS, PICKLEBALL, BEACH VOLLEYBALL, + PLAYGROUND: This park has it all! Bring all your toys! Hallensted park is where you want to go in the afternoon when the winds are high at the beach or you are wanting a break from the waves and sun. It offers shaded picnic areas and fun for all ages. And it's only a 3 min walk from our house!

Neighboring towns offer fun adventures. Nehalem 2 miles away you will find great shops like Wild Coast Goods as well as vintage shops, food, and even a pinball lounge. If you like to paddleboard this is the place!

Wheeler has our favorite local restaurant and it's just a 6 min drive away:
Salmonberry https://thesalmonberry.fun/ where you can enjoy handmade pasta & woodfire pizza-focused menu changes daily to celebrate the seasonal bounty. They also have a great selection of fabulous cocktails.
We like to spend hours looking through all the interesting finds and upcycled art at Cartm and the huge Antique mall across the street.
Go crabbing in Wheeler on the gorgeous bay.

-Parking for only two cars is allowed on site. Parking per the city of Manzanita is only allowed in the 2 designated spots. There is a diagram posted in the unit.
- Smart TV's already have our accounts logged in, please don't log out
- YOU Tube TV offers live TV channels like cable.
-Local noise ordinance in effect 10pm-7am
-No RV's or campers are allowed to be parked onsite ( per city rules)
-PICK UP all dog poop, please.

CHECKOUT PROCEDURE:
-Place 3 living room remotes ( soundbar, TV, ceiling fan) in the wood tray
-Make sure the primary bedrm remote is with the TV
-Strip all beds and leave used sheets and bedding and used towels on the floor
-Clean out the refrigerator & take all food items- feel free to donate any oils and spices for other guests
-Move back any furniture you moved
-Check the washer and dryer for personal belongings
-Close windows and blinds
-Put all your trash in the trash can in carport upon leaving.
-Please take all recycling with you, Manzanita doesn't recycle.
-Lock all doors
-Return the key to the lockbox.
