Sandy Shores will have you mesmerized watching the waves roll in from the comfortable living room. This quaint home sits right on the sand on beautiful Manzanita Beach. This getaway is perfect for travelers wanting to be at the center of all the action. Not only is the home just steps from the beach, it's just eight blocks to downtown and a short distance from the golf course.



Sit by the fireplace in the living room or just sit and stare out at the amazing ocean view. There is also a deck where you can sit and enjoy the sunset, have a picnic, or watch your kids play on the beach.



The kitchen is fully equipped and it faces the ocean so you can enjoy the beauty of the waves while preparing a wonderful meal for your family. The beauty of the sandy shores and ocean waves comes right inside, giving you that welcoming feeling. And if you need something else to keep you occupied, you can spend hours playing on the ping pong table in the garage.

There are a lot of great things to say about this property. The location is fantastic. The views are excellent and beach access is superb. The living room is cozy with a super comfy couch. The bed is comfortable and the baseboard heating works well.I have a few significant complaints. Firstly there is a real ant problem. Ants were all over the dining room table and kitchen counters. They got into our food and were climbing on our bodies. This alone is a deal breaker for us. My wife stayed at this property a year ago and the ants were an issue then which has gotten worse. Also, the bathroom appears to have mold growing on the walls near the shower, which is concerning. The last main gripe I have is the internet speed is atrocious. I tested it at 10 mbps download. It felt nearly unusable on my phone and loading tv shows was very slow. These things take away from an otherwise awesome property. If they get resolved we would definitely book again.

The house was as described. The dirt, dust, and of all things the dog urine soaked couch, and master bedroom reeked of urine, those things cannot be seen on the listing. We slept poorly in the master due to the smell, so my disabled husband and I slept two nights in the bunkroom. We contacted Vacasa immediately, with no call backs from the local team. We escalated the problem 24 hours later heard nothing. 24 hours later we contacted the phone number outside on the plaque. Finally someone who cared, things could not be resolved( they wanted to move us after 72 hours) but they did not have any disabled availability, we chose to leave 2 days early. Unless they replace the sofa , and pull out the orange rig in the master bedroom, refuse to stay here!!!! I could go on about all the problems with the house, it’s old, it’s charming. Vacasa is the culprit here, not letting the homeowner know what needs replacement the sofa portion that was stinking is the part that is a lighter blue, steamed cleaned I’m sure that’s why it does not match, warning do not sit, I had to change my clothes and take a shower to get the stink off.

Be Aware Of Cancellation Policy: No Refunds for ANY Reason

We were looking forward to a little getaway but my husband caught the wheezing/incessant coughing crud that is going around, & went to urgent care the day before our trip. He was too sick to travel. Be aware that there are no refunds for any reason.

No stress stay

Older home, comfortable beds, big living room and dining areas. Lots of kitchen basics froms bowls to pans. Public path to the beach right beside the house. Can see ocean here and there through beach grass besidethe house.the house.

A Special Place in Manzanita

We had a very special stay in Manzanita. Very close to the ocean. Even possible to watch the big waves from inside the house. We had very rainy weather, but that didn't bother us. Going to the ocean in a big storm has it own charm ;-). The house is has enough room for a family of six. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to spent some time in Manzanita and also for the help given when needed.

The property location was perfect. The inside furnishings are worn and may need to be replaced in the near future. The TV in the living room area did not work. This was exactly the respite I needed. I will be back.

Location, location, location

The property has an amazing view. Inside it's dated, but clean and has most everything one would need. Wifi was slow, but who needs wifi when the beach is mere steps away. A reasonable walk to restaurants and shops. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Chillin by the beach

We enjoyed the setting and fabulous beach walks. Bedding comfortable and such easy access to beach and town. I can see where this would be great for families as well ( it was just my spouse and I) but I think property could be improved if the added better outdoor furniture , had beach chairs for renter use and beach toys for the kids!
