”This is one of the hidden gems of the Douro Valley and highlights of my trip. Perfect for relaxation. The property was immaculately maintained, self catering kitchen was well stocked. Views to die for! Both Romantic and great for families or solo travellers looking to unwind.”

”Interesting old manor. Guests can wander through the gardens and beautiful old manor rooms. There is a nice swimming pool area in the gardens. The estate produces an excellent white wine. You can preorder diner on most days but there are only 8 guest rooms so there may not be many takers. A car is needed as the estate is out of town. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. This is an old house so it takes some time for the hot water to come through to the shower and the...

”We can highly recommend this place. Location is beautiful and the service is excellent. Everyone are very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Big thank you for Miguel and everyone else working there. This was highlight of our Portugal road trip.”

”Title: Wonderful stay at Quinta Bosque das Fantasias ★★★★★ We stayed at Quinta Bosque das Fantasias for one night and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely friendly. The setting is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. The infinity pool overlooking the hills is stunning, and the whole Quinta is perfect for escaping the city and enjoying some proper relaxation. The food was absolutely out of this world. The veal...

”The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but the amenities of the hotel were what sold us, however the sauna and hot tub were not available, nor were options to look at any of the farm to table process that the website mentions. Room temperature is controlled by staff and our room was HOT! We had asked that it be set cooler but that did not happen so it was hard to get to sleep. With all of that said, the pool area was lovely! The breakfast was incredible and the staff are very lovely.”
