”I cannot say enough about how amazing this property was. The views were spectacular, enjoyed the nights on the patio with a bottle of the vineyard wine! Delicious! The rooms and hotel were stunning, clean and so well decorated. Our favorite was Joanna our host who was so lovely, attentive and informative. ”The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! ”

”We stayed three nights at Aldeia de Cuada in mid-October. The atmosphere and vibe of this restored old village is calm and exactly what we wanted. The valley surrounding the village is full of lush vegetation and waterfalls and was a great home base to visit Flores. For $10 Euros/morning you can start the day off with the best breakfast and go exploring. Their pool is heated, you can take old trails to surrounding villages and the must see Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro is right around the corner....

"Aamiainen oli melko vaatimaton, mutta illallisella ruoka oli selvästi parempaa. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä, ja myöhäisempi sisäänkirjautuminen järjestyi ilman lisämaksua – iso plussa siitä! Kylpylä oli mainio lisä. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, sillä lentoasemalle on vain lyhyt kävelymatka. Jotkin huoneiden ja käytävien pinnat kaipaisivat pientä remonttia tai laittamista."

"Olimme huoneessa 1001. Se oli todella äänekäs. Hissi oli siinä vieressä, emme nukkuneet ensimmöisenä yönä kuin 3 tuntia. Henkilökunta vaihtoi onneksi huoneemme seuraavana päivänä ja se oli mukava. Katolla oleva allas on todella pieni ja se on 100 cm syvä joka kohdasta. Se oli myös hyvin kulunut"

"The hotel is new ( about ½ years old), so everything works well. The room and the bathroom were very functional. The breakfast is tasty and has plenty of variety. The quality of food is high. The location is good. it is just at the edge of center and there are excellent transport to the riverside either with buses ( 501 or 503 )or metro from Trinidad station. "
