”Casa Acero was amazing. It felt like home. The kitchen was stocked with seasonings and condiments. We cooked most nights and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard with wood burning it the outdoor stove. The furniture was very unique. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely return to Casa Acero.”

”A great option for a stay in Marfa. The house was exactly as advertised and spotlessly clean. The owner was in touch the whole time and very responsive. One shower did not get hot but as there was another it wasn't hugely inconvenient. It's on a quiet edge of town, which was nice for sleeping but still really convenient to drive, or a nice walk, to the center of things.”

”Traveling to Big Bend and stayed in this very cute studio. We knew what we were getting into with no real bed or private indoor shower. We enjoyed our stay for the time we were actually at the studio. It has most of the comforts you would expect. With that said; Our bodies(over 45 years)are just not meant for sleeping on a pull out sofa or trying to shower outdoors when the wind is blowing. Other than that, we were very cozy.”

”House was great! Open concept which was nice to visit with everyone. Kitchen has some stocked food and spices which was great for first day arrival. I love concrete floors however it makes you hear everything in the house early or late. Would stay again when in the area.”

The view of sleeping lion mountain as you sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch is surreal. The stars are so bright! Sigh it was so hard to leave. Everything you need is provided. The home is spotless. The beds are comfy. We look forward to staying again soon.”

”We loved our stay at Prairies Cottage. The property was clean and comfortable, check in information was communicated early and was very easy! We didn’t have tons of time to use the backyard but the kids explored it and it looked like it would be awesome if you have kids and want to be sure they are safe and having fun outside while you make dinner (or while eating dinner!). We have three kids and they loved all sleeping in the one room together! Made an excellent place to stay while we explored...

”A wonderful new little cabin that is SUPER clean. Great location. However, hot water runs out quickly due to the property having just a 1/2 tank hot water heater. So plan your usage accordingly!!!!”

”We love Big Bend country but the house was the real star of this trip. An adobe masterpiece that's as marvelous on the outside as it is inside. The home sits on a bluff overlooking the Rio Grande and the wild, beautiful terrain of the Sierra Del Carmen. Lots of wildlife to view in the morning and evening coming to drink from the river. We can't wait to return!”

”Excellent location and hard to beat on price. The only quibble is the shower head needs to be swapped out, it's pretty much only allows just a dribble of water to come out. Probably just a hardware/sediment issue.”
