”Stayed few nights at Bruce and loved it! Really clean, spacious rooms, calm place and everything you need nearby. In top of that it is located next to the ocean where you can relax and read a book :) Really helpful and professional staff all over the resort which I liked as well as swimming pool if you want to take a dip on it. Roughly 15 min drive from the Siquijor port with tricycle (max. 150 pesos) so pretty convenient location also from that point of view.”

The staff were very warm and accommodating—they happily tweaked my breakfast order and even lent me a motorbike helmet for a few hours, which I really appreciated. ”This property turned out to a joy. Without exception, the staff were cheerful, helpful and kind. They are led by the owner, a jolly Swiss man who built the resort from scratch. The rooms are huge, with nice bathrooms and decorations. (My only niggle is that the shower was lukewarm at best.) The meals in the restaurant were carefully prepared and very tasty. I would heartily recommend it for a stay that is away from it all and different than most resort. ”
