”The area is absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. The house is within Yosemite park, very quiet and peaceful, and away from crowds. There were a lot of deer around the house in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. All bedrooms are upstairs, however, there is a enclosed sunroom with a futon that could serve as a bedroom downstairs, as well as a large chair that also makes into a bed in the living room. We liked having a full bath downstairs, so...

”The retreat was very nice spacious and very well equipped for our stay. It took us about 1 1/4 to get to Yosemite valley and 1hour to Mariposa grove. The house was a little more remotely located than we expected. However we did enjoy the town of Mariposa 15 min away. Nice dining options and a good grocery. ”

”We had an extended family getaway to this house and it was wonderful. It is in the quiet side of Bass Lake and the boat dock was great. We were the only ones in the dock for the entire 3 days. There is a lot of stairs to walk up to go back and forth to the house but it was doable. The house is very clean and had lots of space for our group. We will book again if we go back. The owners were responsive to questions and even left a little welcome basket which was a nice touch. ”
