”A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean.
Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

”Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition.
My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open).
Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.”

”High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future.”

”When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service.
Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress.”
