”Beautiful place”

”Terry is a wonderful host and she prepares delicious breakfasts. The home is charming and it sits on a lake with a view of Mount Monadanock. There is a fridge stocked with soft drinks, wine and beer (complimentary). There is a TV room. Terry prepares a nice mid-afternoon snack. We think it is the best B & B.”

”We had a wonderful stay at The Burrell House. The room was large, beautifully renovated with a well thought out design. It is a very short walk or drive to Main Street where there were a multitude of restaurants and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to book again soon. ”

”Room was fine. Only stayed one night for a quick trip. Didn't realize that the restaurant was closed on Sundays. Was looking for a meal after a long drive, but there were plenty of places to eat in the area. ”

”The hotel is charming. The location is great. The building is funky, given it's age and need for repair. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The theater located in the same building is a one of a kind attraction. It was a plus for us that the hotel is owned and run by a nonprofit.”

Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of.
