Devasthali - The Valley of Gods...."airport hotel"
Good place for 1 night stay. We had early flight back home and this hotel is just 5min drive from the terminal so no stress about the traffic. Hotel's Restaurant was suprisingly good :)

Tulimme myöhään ja lähdimme varhain, joten syvällisempää arviota on vaikea tehdä. Vastaanotto oli kuitenkin asiallinen ja anivarhainkin saimme hyvän palvelun. Taksi oli tiattu ja tuli ajoissa.

The stay was ok for the 4 days we were there. We like that it had the option for a 2 bedroom apartment style with a living area for our big family of 6 to be able to stay together and the pool area was well maintained and usable. The property is doing renovations and maintenance, some fixtures in the rooms are old and out dated and the bathrooms showers also had water discoloration in the tubs and toilet seats were loose. A lot of the listed amenities except for the pool area were not available due to the renovations. I recommend calling hotel first and verify if amenities are available. We initially booked the hotel for the many different amenities it offered especially traveling with children. The staff on the other hand were very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff were excellent in servicing the rooms. Will stay again in the future when the renovations are completed.

The property was good with lush green surrounding. The rooms were very spacious. Being an old property , it could have been maintained a bit better. However the cleaning staff did awesome job in cleaning the rooms. Room service was good, they were at doorstep whenever required.

Property was clean and very quiet but absolutely nothing around and they no longer provide food. So we had to rely on Zomato and Swiggy. A lot could be done to make the property better as several things appeared old and worn out now. Overall we did enjoy the stay because it was peaceful.

Spacious Villa but far from the main road
New property and very spacious however the kitchen needs to be set up and it’s very far from the main road and hence having a car is very necessary

Not recommended
Property is with wooden flooring and all the furniture has termite spread. Kitchen is not at all operational. Only positive aspect is staff members are good and cooperative. Do not book this property with breakfast as they don’t serve it. Although kitchen provided along with room helps a bit.

We asked for a late checkout and were told to pay Rs 800 till 6pm. But when we went to checkout at 5.45pm the manager refused and said the staff had made a mistake and we have to pay the full day charges. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. Would warn patrons to excise caution while booking this place. The railing of the staircase were broken .

Some good and not so good things about hotel
I came here on my honey moon. Service was good, the rooms were big, the location of the hotel makes it feel like your in your own private jungle, and because it was off season I felt we had the hotel all to ourselves. Additionally, the hotel has a restaurant, a pool, and a spa. The food was good but a bit pricey for India, I'm not sure the spa was open but it seem clean, and the pool was good but could use consecutive cleaning throughout the day because of all the bugs in the area. The only down side of the hotel is that it is a bit outdated and needs renovation. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Alles prima. In Gokarna sicher eines der besten Hotels. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es mitten im Wald gelegen ist. Ich war in der Summe sehr zufrieden.

hi The hotel is in remote location no restaurants nearby. Restaurant menu is overpriced and less in qty. Restaurant menu is limited and when we went tandoor was not operational so half of the things were not available. Restaurant people more eager to wrap up your lunch or dinner than you. This is quite annoying when you want to have relaxed meal. There was no rush as such still there was lot of hurry. Breakfast is good and complimentary. Please note no food delverty services available here like swiggy etc. Hotel cleanliness is BIG issue. Have to remind many times to clean things. Front office Manager is never at Front Desk . Many false promises hotel gives. Rooms were smelling of DUST, Had to ask for Napkins, Toiletries, Phone of one of the room was not working. Water kettle was not working. MINI FRIDGE IS NOT WORKING IN ANY ROOM. TOLD HOTEL TO REMOVE IT FROM INCLUSIONS SHOWING ON EXPEDIA OR ANY OTHER WEBSITE. Rooms are big and with lovely Patio.Swimming Pool is nice and clean and well maintained.

Preis und Leistung ist super. Das Hotel für indische Verhältnisse gut und sauber. Das Frühstück und die Auswahl im Restaurant ist sehr gut, die Qualität auch. es ist ruhig gelegen, sehr nahe zu zwei Beach’s. Auch Familienfreundlich. Das Personal alle sehr freundlich und Kann es nur empfehlen

Das Bad war ziemlich dreckig, das W-Lan hat selten funktioniert, man musste sehr oft nachfragen, bis sich jemand um warmes Wasser gekümmert hat, die Taxis vor der Tür sind ziemlich teuer

Bad experience
There is no restaurant nearby so you are dependent on hotel food, which is not bad but expensive(purposefully?) and there is only one taxi service in front of the hotel - which is again very expensive. Rooms are spacious but they have some foul smell. Bathtub was leaking and WIFI never works.

one night stay.
Just stayed for 7 hours before a very early morning flight. Bed was clean and comfortable. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the overhead fan and the bath was a bit dusty. Other than that, it was nice.

Big disppointment
Room itself was clean, service was great. However, nothing going on nearby - nearby beach is not really an option. Also few restaurants or things to see nearby. Overall, it's in the wilderness. Hotel kitchen was abysmal - literallly rodents crawling all over the place. Not hygienic or acceptable for the price. Food itself was not good quality at all.

it was a nice place. close to air port. bed mattress was kind of old and sinking . didn't enjoy breakfast since we left in the early morning. there is a nice path to walk for 20 min and see Hollant beach (not sun bathing beach - but still very pretty)

Nice hotel, but its located far from everything. A taxi to the beach is around 10 minutes, but they charge 400 Rs, which is waaaay above the standard. Stay one night if you have an early flight. Otherwise, dont.

OK hotel with a pretty bad location
Stayed in the hotel only for one night - we were flying to Goa in the evening and thought it would be better to stay closer to airport before booking the more distant hotels up north 40-50 km from airport. This was a mistake..... This hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere... closest beach you need to go by special local overpriced taxi - 400 rupee each way to the beach. Other beach closer to hotel (15 mins walk) is just part of a small village and harbor, hardly a beach. Hence you are stuck in the middle of the forrest with only option to use small pool of the hotel and eat at the expensive hotel restaurant. My recommendation - if you are planning to go to the Goa beaches up north, go straight from the airport - the official taxis will take you from the airport and the 40 km distancefor 1100 rupee and you will be closer to beaches, restaurants etc.

The resort is decent but lacks a lot of care. May be it was great once upon a time but now is loosing charm because of lack of good care. Everything was average compared to higher prices Food is mediocre, nothing great Swimming pool is good, room size is very good, cleanliness is missing

Excellent place to stay and relax
Hotel is located at calm place. Location is only 5kms from airport. Services are good enough. The only problem is there will be no mobile network available for any service provider. We need to use only hotel landlines.

Wouldn't recommend
I have been coming to this hotel since quite sometime and am pained to see the deterioration in the standard of the hotel. Rooms are spacious but very smelly. Bathrooms are dirty and you may sometimes find no water in the toilet or no hot water in the middle of your shower. Food is very expensive and with no restaurants around this place you are not left with much choice but to buy from their restaurant. For the price that you pay the quantity is meagre and average tasting. Internet is very very unstable and slow. No mobile network. I will not recommend the hotel anymore because they are compromising on quality which is unethical since they charge you a bomb.

Never recommended.
I fell for this hotel by seeing the distance from airport...but this hotel is like isolated place where there is no mobile signal, no shops, no bike rentals and the list continues. Even if you want to buy a small chocolate you've to travel 4km to bogmallo by paying 300 INR (minimum charge for taxi), I spent most of money on these taxi rides. You've to stand like a statue of liberty outside of your room holding your mobile in hand for getting signal, don't even try indoors. About food....worse ever I had in entire Goa. If you're looking for a beach...yes there's a beach 1km away called Hollant with no tides (never saw a beach without tides before)..and it's full of rocks you can't walk in beach without footwear.

Devasthali is loacted in a nice place. - points about out stay was finding this hotel was bit difficult. Hotel management mentioned that other than Expedia bookings they were not able to provide the free pick up from Airport. We made our bookings through Hotels.com. It is hard to find this hotel as there were not many sign boards. Otherwise, everything fine about our stay at this Hotel.

Кажется что отель находится рядом с аэропортом, но на самом деле все равно дорога займет на такси 10 минут и 300 рупий, пешком дойти проблематично. Отель в глуши, в пределах километра только одно кафе и один скромный пляж. Шатл от аэропорта 6 раз в день возит до более приличного пляжа, где есть кафе и магазинчики. Персонал в отеле работает хорошо. Территория Отличная, ухоженная,много зелени. Ужин в номер заказывать не рекомендую, порции маленькие, пицца размороженная из супермаркета, ни слова про налоги, но при расчете вам прибавят еще 22% к счету. Есть возможность взять бесплатно 2 велосипеда, которые находятся в плохом состоянии,но едут. Воду в бутылках всегда можно попросить на ресепшн бесплатно -это хорошо.

Nice resort, reasonably priced at c.INR4,000, clean rooms, benefits from proximity to airport, although limited supply of taxis leads to increased prices (INR400 for 5 min ride).

Not that good!
I booked this hotel knowing it is very close to Airport. Even Though it is close compared to other good resorts, but service is very poor. Hotel location is very hard to find. no signs anywhere.. we called four times, and staff could not guide us to this location. When we finally found it, it was pouring and hotel did not have enough umbrellas for us. we got wet before we reached the room. During the night i asked for extra blanket for my kids.. they did not have any.. can you believe it..they charged a lot for the breakfast.. and not that good food..not happy at all

A hotel with just 'rooms'
Not a very good experience. Average hotel, with a very small swimming pool. Does not have play area for children. Do not have a buffet system for either lunch / dinner or breakfast. Overall a small infractructure. Should be OK for a newly married couple, to spend more time togather, with less interest in the surrounding.
