Magnifique, bien situé, et personnel au top (Merci à Samir, à Abdoul et au reste du personnel pour leur accueil si chaleureux). On s'est senti chez nous. A recommander sans hésitation

Riad infesté de punaises de lit. J’y ai passé une seule nuit sur les 5 payées car le Riad est complet et la seule solution trouvée par le propriétaire est de me faire dormir sur une banquette sur la terrasse du toit. Il refuse de me rembourser les nuits non passées sur place et me confisque la clé de ma chambre et m’interdit l’accès au Riad sans aucune autre solution de logement. Obligée de porter plainte à la police qui décide de fermer ce Riad pour cause d’hygiène déplorable et de non respect des touristes. Fuyez!!!

Riad Swaka was absolutely incredible! We arrived quite late and were able to add an evening meal to our booking which was absolutely delicious. We were given such a warm welcome by Abdoul and Samir, who were always available to help us with recommendations and Arabic lessons! It was like being welcomed by family and we can’t wait to return. I would recommend this riad to everyone; it is right in the heart of the action, but is absolutely peaceful and quiet and just the most beautiful place.

Perfect Riad fo quiet location and pool relaxation
This Riad is great for relaxation. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to everything in the Medina of interest. I would stay in this neighbourhood again vs. staying in the middle of the Medina. We traveled in December and were in need of getting some sunny time, which was possible with the rooftop lounge chairs and the pool. Breakfast is great. The Riad staff is fantastic, very helpful. Before arrival call the Riad for pickup at the nearest parking, and someone will come by foot and pick you up. Otherwise the Riad is difficult to find in the small streets the first time.

Latina and abdouel (night manager) were amazing. The morning breakfast was really good. Room was large and accommodated four adults well. Finding the Riad was a bit difficult at first-great location.

Nous avons été très bien reçus au Riad Swaka qui est idéalement placé à environ 15 minutes de la place et 2 min du palais Bahia. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et le repas du soir, discuté le matin avec la cuisinière est très bon aussi. Merci à Lotfi et Samir pour le soin qu ils apportent à leurs clients, pour leur disponibilité et leurs bons conseils. Nous recommandons cet endroit.

Hier findet man die Ruhe die man nach dem ganzen Trubel braucht. Sehr geschmackvoll und sauberes Riad. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würde dort immer wieder wohnen.

Me and my partner really enjoyed ourselves in this fantastic Riad. my partner and I never been to Marrakech before and didn't know what to expect. We both loved it and all staff in the hotel were all so helpful and recommend places for us to go. The owner helped us get a traditional hamman and a trip to the waterfall. I would highly recommend this place as you'll feel so welcomed!

Excelente experiencia
Excelente experiencia, el hotel está ambientado muy bonito, el servicio de los empleados y el manager son muy amables y cordiales. La habitación es muy cómoda y su decoración muy adecuada y linda. Sin duda repetiría !!!! Al llegar debes pasar por callejones, pero no es de preocuparse por que la ubicación es excelente para ir a los destinos turísticos

The details of this Riad were slightly misleading as there wasn't a bar, hot tub or room service and the location of this Riad meant that we couldnt be picked up directly for day trips. Having said that, Samir was the saving grace for us as he made this Riad 'something special'. He went above and beyond the call of duty for us by making us feel so welcome and he makes the BEST TEA!!! We cant thank him enough as it wouldn't have been the same experience without him. Samir....we won't forget what you did for us, the late night chats...i could go on...!! Thanks Samir 😀

Lofti the manager was very accommodating and helpful but Samir was such a wonderful person, thank you so much guys!! Loved this Riad very cozy and excellent location walking distance to everything, I personally enjoyed relaxing in the pool on the terrace after a long day. Loved Marrakech specially it’s people very humble and good hearted!! Highly recommended Migue y Gise!

Excellent, reasonably priced accommodation a few minutes away from all the action. Our room was great as it had a window, clean comfy beds, excellent pillows, and lights above our individual beds. The terrace is beautiful complete with bird songs and the breakfasts sumptious. But the best part of the experince is the staff, especially Samir, our teacher, who taught us so much about Morrocan/Berber life. My only suggestion is there should be a TIP BOX for the staff in the main area.

Como estar en tu casa
Hemos estado dos noches en este riad y lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda. Está cerca de la plaza principal, pero lo que más nos gustó fue el trato de Samir(que además habla español) y el resto de personal del riad, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte o a servirte un té con menta. Por poner alguna pega, el wifi nos dio algún problemilla, pero lo positivo gana a lo negativo con creces.

Cosy Riad right in amongst it all
Once we figured out how to get to and from the Riad it was easy to find. Negotiating the Souk between there and the main square became a challenge, to "Run the Gauntlet" without being hassled by the local shopkeepers we managed by the 2nd day. Being waited on and pampered was wonderful after our previous city. The rooftop terrace and plunge pool was heaven. They couldn't do enough for us.

riad agreable mais personnel catastrophique
Je précise qu'avant d'écrire cet avis j'ai eu un échange oral au riad puis par mail avec le propriétaire. Concernant le riad en lui-même, il est tres agreable, joliment decoré et les chambres sont spacieuses. Par contre, sans rentrer dans le détail (voir mon avis sur tripadvisor) : gardien totalement incompetent qui nous a laissé de longues minutes a la porte le 1er soir alors que nous etions "agressés verbalement" par une bande de jeunes qui voulaient nous racketter. Pire le 2nd soir, ou il est parti se coucher en verrouillant la porte d'entree du riad a 23h sans s'assurer que tout le monde est rentré .... 45 minutes dehors (a 10 degrés) et 15e de hors forfait plus tard, lorsqu'il nous a ouvert, meme pas une excuse ... Je tiens a rajouter qu'heureusement, nous avions nos telephones portables et la carte du riad avec les numeros, sinon nous etions bons pour une nuit dehors .... inadmissible ! Ajouté a cela que nous avons ete volés de 200euros dans la chambre (dans le coffre ou dans ma valise) Le patron bien que plutot sympathique en soi, ne nous a pas paru plus gené que ca que des clients soit restés dehors en pleine nuit, nous n'avons guere plus senti d'implications concernant l'argent derobé. Vous comprendrez aisement que mon avis est quelque peu mitigé !
