The APPARTAMENTO LE SALINE will make your stay in western Sicily unforgettable, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the magical atmosphere of the Stagnone Lagoon. This spacious one-bedroom apartment is located north of Marsala, in a quiet and charming area, just a short distance from the salt pans and the nature reserve.​

The living area opens into a bright open space with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining table, and a double sofa bed, perfect for accommodating up to two additional guests (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). From the living area, you can directly access the large terrace, an ideal space to relax in the outdoor lounge or enjoy pleasant meals with views of the surrounding nature. The bedroom is spacious and welcoming, furnished with classic dark wood furniture and features a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washing machine, ensuring maximum comfort throughout your stay.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The apartment has a private parking space in the shared condominium area.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

The APPARTAMENTO LE SALINE is the perfect starting point to explore Marsala and experience the authentic and vibrant soul of western Sicily. Just a five-minute drive away are the Stagnone Nature Reserve and the Salt Pans—unique places where you can embark on a journey to discover the lagoon’s islands, including the fascinating Island of Mothia, an ancient Phoenician colony. Marsala’s historic center can be reached in about ten minutes by car: here, among cobblestone alleys and sunlit squares, you can visit the majestic Church of San Tommaso di Canterbury, the elegant Porta Nuova and Porta Garibaldi, as well as the renowned Baglio Anselmi Archaeological Museum, home to the famous late-Roman shipwreck of Marausa. The area is full of typical restaurants, wine bars, and venues where you can enjoy the intense flavors of Sicilian cuisine and taste the renowned Marsala wine, a symbol of the region’s winemaking tradition. In about thirty minutes by car, you can also reach Trapani, with its charming historic center by the sea, and Mazara del Vallo, a city rich in Arab influences, famous for its “Kasbah” district—an intricate maze of alleys and courtyards reminiscent of traditional North African architecture.

How to get there:

By car: From Trapani Airport, follow the SP21. With GPS, you’ll reach the apartment in about 10 minutes. From Palermo Airport, take the A29/E90 and continue on the SP21. The journey takes about 1 hour.

By train: Marsala station is connected to various towns in the region. From the station, there are no direct public transport options to the property.
