”Great stay here as a mum and daughter. Room, facilitates and food were excellent. The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers! Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!”

”The room was beautiful and clean. Very good amenities, including an ironing board and an iron which is a rare treat! The staff were great and it was nice to have the pub downstairs. Breakfast was exceptional 👌 cooked to order.”

Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. ”Room was dated. Bed covers had some sort of old make up stain. Same with one of the towels. Wife found fake eyelashes in one of the bedside drawers. Hotel was in a nice location. Great pub across the road”

”The hotel itself was fine. The pool which was one of the main reasons for booking this property was closed. Then the hotel sent me a parking fine for despite paying for parking and having a receipt which has been nothing but stress to have this finally removed”

”The room was clean but I would have liked a safe and sheer curtains it didn't feel private or secure. The staff were friendly but their energy i found wanting and not customer focused. Having said that Charlie and Makency were the exception and were very helpful to me. The bar was very badly looked after lots of tables not cleared quickly and very slow service. There is good potential with the staff they need to be more focused on what is going on in their workplace. Overall I found the...

”We had a lovely quiet bedroom at the end of a corridor. The only thing we could hear were sheep! Comfortable bed, powerful shower and clean room. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. Pleasant atmosphere, good location and friendly staff. Would stay again when in this area.”

”Very nice stay in small and cosy Old Amersham village. The hotel was cute little old building dating back to 15th century (oldest parts). Room was well equipped; big bathroom with tub and separate shower. Complimentary toiletries ans water was provided. Breakfast was okay, more british style (as scandinavians we missed all the veggies). Staff was very helpfull and nice.”
