Checked in here for a week with my 4 year old son . We got a good rate online and it helped us be able to save money for our trip which was a plus. The lady up front was great and friendly and the lobby was clean and inviting . The hotel is old and still uses keys to open doors but they do lock the outer door so that’s an extra security measure . I felt safe in the area and hotel no trouble at all was had while there. Now I must say I do wish the room was cleaner , there was tons of dead stink bugs lining the window and one was hanging from ceiling and another is wedged behind the cabinet. I did see two other live bugs that resembled a small cockroach but the bed was clean and the sheets were clean the comforter had a stain and a cigarette burn but looked clean. The tv and pictures had a very smoky film and dirty smears that resembled someone smoking previously in the room or maybe just serious lack of cleaning . The hotel and room smelled faintly of smoke as people smoked right outside under my window and the hall smelled of marijuana from time to time. This hotel is used by locals to live in as it is a very good price . Overall I did not notice any bed bugs and the bathroom was clean and the water was hot and stayed hot . I just wish there regular cleaning was more like maybe a shop vac brought in to vacuum window frame and corners . I would stay here again as it was comfortable and I felt safe and the price was great.
