Keep in mind that that the park is next to a well-used highway and the sounds of night traffic filters into the campground. Maryhill's Stonehenge sits on a hillside that overlooks the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. It was completed in 1929 to the original Stonehenge dimensions by Sam Hill, a local philanthropist, as a war memorial to the servicemen who died in Klickitat County during WWI.
