You are just a short stroll to your nearest pub and restaurant and only a 5-minute walk to the town centre of Maryport which is home to all the usual high street stores, a good selection of bars, restaurants, pubs serving local ales, independent coffee shops and cafés. Maryport also has a lovely beach to stroll along and soak up the fresh sea air. Maryport is located on the northwest Cumbrian coast and overlooking the Solway and the mountains of southern Scotland.

Just a few miles to the north is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a long stretch of sandy beaches. To the south there is the popular town of Whitehaven with its bustling harbour and town centre. If you enjoy culture and history, why not visit the Senhouse Roman Museum, ¾ mile away. If you like walking and cycling there are several cycle routes locally. Of course, if you want some more challenging climbs, you can easily access the Lake District National Park, you are equal distance to both Bassenthwaite where you’ll find The Lakes Distillery and The Lake District Wildlife Park, and Loweswater, home to the famous Kirkstile Inn where you can treat yourself to a pint of Loweswater Gold.
