Majatalot – Mason's Island

”The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel was well maintained and clean. We look forward to staying at the Whalers Hotel again.”

”Enjoyed staying here, the staff was very friendly. The room was a good size and was very clean. I really enjoyed the free breakfast and common areas. It was very close to downtown Mystic and Old Mystik. Lots of places to eat nearby. As a female traveler I felt safe. It also was a great price, would definitely recommend.”

”I really enjoyed the stay. The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. My complaint is very specific. You either have to accept heat or accept air conditioning. Apparently my comfort level was riding the line between the two. You can't just choose AC or heat. The heat or AC decides the temperature of the room. Confusing??? Yes!!!! The controls are interconnected.”

”The beds were thin and very hard. We had a hard time sleeping. Let’s were allowed and the walls were thin, we heard dogs barking in the rooms next to us all night and day. The hot tub continually broke down. Our elderly friends who needed a handicapped accessible room and made that clear upon booking were put in a regular room for one night with no compensation and could not move them til the next day. And they had to check out of the room they were in by 11 am and couldn’t get into the handicap...

”Outdated but great price”

”Lovely place, sadly we only booked one night and arrived after dark , so didn't really have chance to use all the amenities, kayak's etc . The cabin we stayed in was lovely , and great communication from the staff ( Deb ) and recommendations for coffee & breakfast the following morning . Would stay again if in the area .”

”Convenient, and clean for concert venues”
