Amazing - all around

The home is better than it is advertised and Valeria was an exceptional host. She arranges anything you may need and is so responsive. The property has stunning views, a lot of space, and the most beautiful foliage (we went in late April). Couldn’t recommend more.

Amazing experience! We highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about both the home and the hosts. The property is beautiful. It is even better than the photos. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Valeria and Daniela went above and beyond for us both before our arrival and during our stay. Truly, this is the best rental property we have ever stayed at. Our entire group would recommend this home. The only thing to note - it is about 20 minutes from downtown Sorrento. It is well worth staying here, but make sure you are comfortable knowing you will have to pay for taxis or drive yourself. There are some amazing restaurants with shuttles to and from the home, which Valeria and Daniela helped us set up reservations for. The hosts were also happy to help us call for general transportation into the city. It’s worth staying outside the city for the incredible views and the host’s hospitality!!

Sorrento paradise

Words cannot express what an amazing property this is!!! The terrace alone has to be the best view overlooking capri and ischia!! Sunrise was magical it lit the islands up with a pink glow but sunset…. Was heavenly!!! The house and property were spectacular!! Olives trees and lemon trees over handing the pool. The grounds were gorgeous!!! The pool and hot tub overlook capri. The house had everything you need and the decor was beautiful!!! We didn’t want to leave!!! We want to bring our daughters back for a visit!!! But by far the best part of our stay was the authentic amazing meal that mama made for us and Daniella Valeria and franscesca served us on the terrace at sunset!!! No words can describe the flavors and beautiful display of food she prepared. It was clearly made with love from vegetables from their garden even down the the homemade limoncello that they served!!! Thank you Daniella for being such a wonderful host and sharing your gorgeous paradise with us. We miss it already!!!

The views are outstanding, the property itself is beautiful and very well-maintained. But what sets this VRBO apart from others is the friendliness and outstanding service of the host and her family. Daniela was fantastic. She was responsive, very helpful with recommendations, and a delightful person be around. We had two recent newlyweds in our group, and one celebrating her 21st birthday. Daniela went out of her way to ensure that both occasions were memorable with some of her mom’s fresh-baked goodies and even a bottle of wine. We met her dad and mom (who is a world-class chef!), her fiancé, and other family members who happened to visit during our stay. The entire family’s warmth and hospitality is unmatched in our 15+ years staying at VRBOs. This is the first time I ever felt I was leaving with new friends when I returned home. I highly recommend this property, and we look forward to another visit in the future.

Amazing experience

Where do I start ?! Gorgeous, comfortable, spacious property, stunning views, clean, beautiful terrace, perfect pool and the most amazing hostess! To be honest, Daniela really made our stay wonderful. She met us at the property after arranging a car service from Naples, explained and showed all the details about the villa and was so welcoming. She also took care of restaurant reservations at some fabulous places, activities and transportation to/from, she took care of ALL details. We also must mention Lucio with the BEST suggestions and the best character ! We really enjoyed the entire experience with this property and would highly recommend the property to anyone. We traveled to many places in Italy and that was the place I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they are incredible and have strong connections everywhere. We can’t wait to return again next year ! Thank you for an amazing time!

Charming Villa & Stunning View

If you are looking for an authentic Italian Villa experience with a stunning view and breathtaking sun sets, this is the perfect choice. Daniela is a delightful host who is warm, inviting and fun. She made check in and out very easy. She confirmed our Amalfi and Capri boat tours which left from the local Massa Lubrense marina and provided transportation to and from the Villa. She also arranged for transportation to and from Napoli and La Tavernetta a fabulous local seaside restaurant with a spectacular tasting menu. The best experience during our stay at the Villa was the absolutely delicious sunset dinner Daniela's mom prepared for us which was served by Daniela and her sister. The anti-pasta, pasta, desert and limoncello were all home made with fresh ingredients from the family's garden. The local wine and prosecco they served were fabulous. There was so much wonderful food we could not wait to have the leftovers the following night. The local bus to Sorrento has a stop right at the Villa which was very easy. I would suggest a cab back to the Villa from Sorrento to avoid potentially getting on the wrong bus. Our stay was truly wonderful!!!!

A SLICE OF HEAVEN

There is way to much to say about how amazing this property, Daniela, and her family are that words could ever give it the praise and justice it deserves! From the breathtaking sunsets, the view of Capri from the terrace, and the attention to every single detail that Daniela takes upon herself to arrange for you to ensure a memorable vacation can’t be beat! I actually cried when we drove away from the house, not only because of the view I am so going to miss every day, but because I will miss Daniela and her family and everything they did to make my families stay hands down our best vacation! *if you love food, you need Daniela’s mom to make a authentic Italian meal for you at sunset! The communication was good. The apartment has good access to public transport in to Sorrento. The pool is very refreshing and a lovely sitting area. The view was spectacular for sunsets

Amazing Views

Daniela and her family were wonderful hosts. The Villa was clean and stocked well with amenities for us to enjoy our time cooking and resting. And, the view of Capri and sunsets were amazing. In addition to great accommodations, Daniela coordinated adventures for us that were outstanding and created lasting memories for me and my daughters. We arrived early and she arranged for us to have a wonderful lunch while we waited for our check-in time. I highly recommend the Villa and Daniela!!!

Amazing spot with unbeatable views

We had an incredible time during our stay in Massa Lubrense exploring the Sorrento region and Amalfi coast. The villa is as pictured with spectacular views and one of the most amazing sunsets we've witnessed. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we chose to eat dinner on the terrace several nights because the views were so amazing. Everything was clean and spacious. Daniela and her family were gracious hosts who assisted with booking a wonderful boat tour up the Amalfi coast and providing advice and guidance whenever needed. There is so much to do and explore in this area and this serves as an amazing home base with ample space and world-class views. Thank you to Daniela! We hope to return one day.

Exceptional Stay

We had an amazing time while visiting Massa Lubrense. The house was immaculately kept and our hostesses were beyond hospitable. The home cooked meal we arranged for was amazing while eating out on the veranda with beautiful views of Capri and a gorgeous sunset. Daniella and her family were so helpful in arranging day trips, meals, and grocery shopping. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend a stay here.

Superb!

My wife and our boys (teenage and a 20 year old) had an amazing stay. Access to different short trips to the Amalfi coast (Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello., Pompeii, Capri). Easy access to Marina Della Lobra for boat activities as well. The place is roughly 2 km from Massa Lubrense which is a nice quaint town with great restaurants. The views are unbelievable everywhere. Amazing waking up and looking at Capri and watching the sun go down over Procida and Ischia. Our host Daniela and her sister Valeria were amazing and always available. Would do it again in a second.

We hebben een fantastische tijd doorgebracht in de villa "Wonder van Capri". Zalige plek! Het huis is ruim en mooi, het terras is een wonderlijke plek om te zitten en het zwembad met zonnedek is daarbovenop nog een fantastisch extraatje. Als het kon, we gingen meteen terug!

A fabulous experience in a beautiful setting

We can’t say enough about how accommodating Daniela and her family were during our stay in Massa Lubrense. From the check in process, Daniela was there to meet us in town and take us to their beautiful home. The views and grounds are stunning, with a full frontal view of Capri. Since we were jet lagged, we decided to have Daniela’s mom cook for us the first night we were there. To date, this was our absolute favorite meal. The attention to detail and flavors were nothing short of fantastic and all the vegetables were grown on premise! Just an amazing experience. I highly recommend you to take advantage of the home cooked Neapolitan meal. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped. The grounds were gorgeous with ample places to relax. Our daughters had a blast in the above ground pool after days of sight seeing. If you are looking for a hidden gem away from the touristy area of Sorrento, we highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views and wonderful owner

My wife and I stayed at this villa with another couple for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The views of Capri were phenomenal and we spent most of our time on the terrace to take advantage of the view. The home was quite comfortable for our group. Olimpia was fantastic, both in terms of her hospitality and communication with us as we approached our visit and during our time there. She was very helpful in arranging for transportation, excursions and other advice. Our group especially enjoyed our day circumventing Capri on a semi-private boat, which Olimpia recommended. Olimpia also arranged for a driver, Lucio (who was very professional) so that we could visit Ravello and enjoy dinner in Positano. We didn’t have a car, but there is parking, though driving and parking along the coast can be a challenge. It is a bit of a walk to go to the store, which was fine with us, and the driver stopped at a wonderful store on the way to the villa (after picking us up at the train station in Napoli / Naples), where we picked up wine and a delicious assortment of food. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

5 Star Host!

The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning! Olimpia and her family are five star Hosts! They are very accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is top notch! Olimpia arranged transportation and excursions for us prior to arriving which made our get away truly a vacation! If you get a chance, make sure you arrange to have her mother prepare a true Italian Feast for you. It was one of the best meals and experience we had while visiting Italy! We loved it so much. that we had her prepare a 2nd meal for us on a different night! I can't say enough about Olimpia except to say that by the end of our stay, she felt like family. Thank you for being a part of the trip of a lifetime! Hope to return in the future!

Great Location Outside Massa Lubrense

My husband and I just came back from our second trip to Italy. We hadn't been in Southern Italy and were recommended to stay in the Sorrento area. We found this beautiful villa outside of Massa Lubrense, one of the villages in the Sorrento region. The house was exactly as shown - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the main terrace and a side terrace. Olimpia and Valeria were great hostesses - greeting us when we arrived and helping us haul all of the luggage we had brought. Note that it's a steep climb from the street to the apartment, so be ready. Olimpia had arranged for all of our transfers - Giovanni/Lucio/Arturo picking us up from the airport and bringing us back to the Naples train station, as well as a day trip to Pompeii. The Pompeii trip is a little over an hour to get there, but really worth the time. They also arranged for a boat trip up the Almalfi Coast (I didn't want to have to drive the whole thing), which was amazing! Great boat captain, stopped at a couple of villages, swam in the sea. As other visitors, we decided to have Olimpia's mom cook for us one night. I am the world's pickiest eater and was worried about what I would like - I ate pretty much everything - it was DELICIOUS! Beautiful setting on our terrace with the neighbors from the apartment below, who were wonderful. The one thing to know is that it's a bit out of town. You can walk to the Hotel Delfino (5-10 minutes) or you take the bus or taxi into Massa Lubrense. Would definitely recommend this place!

Spectacular

This treasure hidden just outside of Sorrento is beyond words. As the pictures describe it’s one thing to be on a cliff looking out on Capri but add in the most amazing sunset and you will have to pinch yourself. We were treated like family and mom made us a 6 course dinner one Night that was the highlight of our entire two week stay and the best Italian dinner I’ve ever had. Truly spectacular. I’m so glad we avoided staying in Sorrento or Naples. We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect to enjoy Amalfi Coast as well as a full day boat trip to Capri. This also is a must . Olympia who acts as concierge also set up our boat trip with mauro who took us on a breathtaking day in blue grotto caves and swimming holes around Capri. This truly was unparalleled to anything we’ve Ever experienced before. 5 star all the way around and you will not be disappointed.

Incredible villa!!

Fantastic wonderfully appointed villa with a view!! Olimpia ensured everything was taken care of and was super sweet and responsive. She was gracious, kind, provided wonderful hospitality and great recommendations. We also had her mum’s cooking on the patio and it was incredible!! Such a special treat overlooking Capri as the sun set. I would highly recommend staying at this gorgeous villa. Grazie mille, Olimpia!
