Kaunis maisema, mutta meluisa.
Kokemus oli muuten ihan miellyttävä, mutta hotellin yhteydessä sijaitsevan rantaklubin johdosta yöunet menivät muusikin jumputuksen alkaessa kymmeneltä aamulta aina jatkuen pitkälle yöhön. Korvatulpatkaan ei auttanut asiaa. En menisi hotelliin enää uudestaan.

All details are perfect. The setting, the views, the rooms, the breakfast (superb) and the staff outfit was perfect. Without a car, can be challenging, since one of the days we had to rely on the personal cars of the staff, since the shuttle was not available.

The resort was great the staff was friendly! The Saturday night party was WOW! Just as other reviewers have mentioned! Ours was the end of the year celebration and ended around 7:00! It did not disturb our sleep but you knew it was happening! Breakfast was great the service was great! The hotel is clean and the waters are amazing!

Do not recommend. Don’t bother staying here…although it is beautiful, it’s too far from anything. It’s at the base of a steep cliff, impossible to walk around hotel, and there are very few cabs. When you do get a cab, they charge you 60-80 Euros for a 10 min drive to the city. At the hotel itself, food was pretty terrible and overpriced…paid 130 euros for 2 basic plates of pasta and 2 aperols. Also, at night the outside turns into a club where music is blasting until 5am. Just brutal overall. Don’t bother staying here…instead may just come here for the day or night club.

Spett.le Expedia, prima di vendere soggiorni vacanze è sempre opportuno assicurarsi che la struttura sia aperta ed operativa. Purtroppo il soggiorno acquistato presso la vostra società è stato un fallimento perché l’hotel era ancora preso con i lavori di ristrutturazione e per tanto era chiuso. È inutile aggiungere che è stata una pessima esperienza.

Cancelled our Reservation the day before arrival!
We were booked to stay in the Sea Conca last week. I booked in advance and had received several emails confirming our stay because it was a special occasion- Our 20th anniversary. I received an email the day before we were supposed to arrive (glad I had cell service) telling me that they can no longer accommodate us. En route to Sorrento, we didn't know where we were staying because they moved us to one hotel and then another. They put us in a hotel that catered to British seniors. We are Americans in our 40s so it was very strange. The new hotel was on a very dangerous road and we had to walk because the shuttle wasn't offered when we wanted to go into town.

De kamers zijn uitstekend, er is geen lift en wij zaten op de 3e etage bovendien stond de schoonmaak wagen permanent naast onze voordeur, dat hoort niet! Het eten is royaal maar geen bijzondere keuken, hoewel hun roerei heel goed is. Hun wijnen zijn matig, het bier is wel goed. De zwembaden waren fantastisch, een kleiner en een enorm zwembad. Er is aan de buitenkant wel het nodige achterstallig onderhoud. Tot slot, de ligging is prachtig.

Grundsätzlich sind wir bei der Buchung davon ausgegangen, dass wir knappe 2 Minuten bis zu Meer benötigen. Was bei der Buchung nicht mitgeteilt wurde, war, dass es auch noch Zimmer oberhalb der Klippe gibt. Dort wurden wir untergebracht. Meersicht - ja. Balkon - nein. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, mit einem Shuttlebus nach unten zum Meer zu fahren. Wir waren nur 4 Nächte dort und waren zum Glück sonst unterwegs. Somit war es nicht so schlimm. Achtung - auf den Fotos ist immer nur das Resort unten am Meer abgebildet. Es bestehen keine Aussenfotos von der Unterkunft oben auf der Klippe. Das Personal war nett. Das Morgenbuffet (wir hatten bloss Zimmer mit Frühstück) war in Ordnung.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and obliging. There were really only two issues with this hotel: - the breakfast was pretty ordinary, and there was really no point is staying for lunch or dinner. - being a fair way out of Sorrento was annoying, and having to plan your daily trip around the shuttle was painful. If you're a young family and want to stay in one location for the majority of your trip, the hotel would be fantastic with huge pool and access to swim in the ocean. If you're a two young guys looking to travel to Amalfi, Positano or Capri as we did, it's a lot more convenient to stay in Sorrento. It's really only the location that lets this hotel down.

Dåligt hotell!
Vi hade myror på rummet, när vi klagade och ville byta rum va det ok, fick ett nytt rum och rensade allt i väskan från myror. Men det va även myror på det rummet. Vi skulle äta buffé och frågade om priset på den, dom svarade 16 euro för två, tyckte det lät billigt så frågade flera ggr om det verkligen stämde, och fick samma svar... När vi skulle checka ut så stod det 60 euro för maten!!! När vi sa att det kan inte stämma, och talade om att vi blivit informerade om ett annat pris så sa dom att vi ljög. När vi kommer ut till bilen där dom har en parkeringsvakt så är hela ena sidan repad!!! När vi frågar vakten så bara rycker han på axlarna. Rekommenderar verkligen INTE detta hotell!!

Hôtel excentré de Sorrento, vous êtes donc dépendant de la navette de l'hôtel. route très dangereuse à pied et sans accès pour les piétons. Pour accéder à la piscine et à la mer ainsi qu'au restaurant, il faut là aussi prendre une autre navette !! A savoir : vous n'arriverez pas en bord de plage mais en pleine mer et si la mer est agitée, il est impossible de se baigner. personnel pas très professionnel

upon arrival was informed that there was no room for us due to a booking error. Was offered a room in another hotel the other side of Sorrento or the choice of 2 very shabby,outdated and unwelcoming rooms in the small "hotel" called La Maison at the entrance to the site at the top of a very steep, single track, hairpin and unlit road leading down to the main hotel complex. As we had booked the hotel specifically to attend a family wedding which was based in the main hotel you can imagine our reaction. To ensure that we would be able to be with the rest of our family and friends for the wedding we did not accept the offer of the other hotel across Sorrento and reluctantly accepted one of the shabby rooms for only 1 night having been informed that a room would be made available in the main complex from the following day. The member of staff told us that someone else would be moved. I found this quite surprising and having worked in customer services for 25 years, was shocked. Another room was found for us and it was an upgrade from our original booking. However during the other 4 nights that we stayed in this room there were no occupants in the rooms either side so I do still not understand why we were told on arrival that they had NO room for us. The staff in the hotel were in the majority very good but as we had only booked bed and breakfast we were made upon occaision to feel like second class citizens. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for bed and breakfast only

This Hotel was a great place to relax. Amazing views and away from the crowds. The food served there was good. Free breakfast. Prices for the other food and beverages, beer and wine were a lot less than most Hotel prices.

Me mandaron a una habitación fuera del hotel.
Una mentira. Las fotos que vi en internet eran de un hotel 4 estrellas como parecia ser. Nada tan lejos de la realidad, me sentí engañada. La habitación que pagué con balcón con vista al mar, LCD y demas comodidades, terminó siendo una habitacion por fuera del hotel, como una agregada para los caseros! Cosa que no acepté de ninguna manera. Y me dieron otra habitación al fondo, sin vista y sin balcón y sin LCD. Con olor a humedad. Un hotel qu pareceria haber sido lindo mucho tiempo atrás, venido a menos. Con un acceso terrible, O sea, si querés salir de alli tenes que pedir hora para que una camioneta destartalada te lleve al centro de Sorrento y te vuelva a traer. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Lovely stay. Nice options of pool, beach and private no public area. Good for isolation away from the business, but close enough via the shuttle bus to get back in among it in Sorrento. Staff friendly. No for you if you don't like cliff roads, set away from Sorrento main town, and requires transportation (10mins) to and from the main town.

Poor communication/ lack of professionalism
I do not in general write poor reviews but the lack of customer care and professionalism of this hotel merits it. Finding the phone number is almost impossible (web-site number is wrong,) and was only possible because I speak Italian. This I learned when I had to cancel my reservation (within the allotted time) because I came to learn that, without a car to get to the hotel requires a 20 minute walk, a 20 minute bus ride then a walk up a hill. Since speaking with them to cancel, with the exception of one employee who as of yet has not succeeded in resolving the situation, I have had no positive interactions with the management. There are many others in the area that are beautiful, professional and provide appropriate service honest

We arrived at around 5.30pm after driving from Rome and stopping at Pompeii.....we got here and thought we were still in Pompeii! We had booked a Double Superior Sea View Room.....what we were given was nothing short of a dog box! 2 single beds, not a picture on the walls, tiny bathroom and a balcony that you needed to take turns using....horrible! We questioned the reception staff as to whether we had been given the wrong room....apparently no, it was just a small Double Superior Sea View Room! They moved us a larger room with the promise of an upgrade to a Junior Suite for our 2nd and 3rd nights.....we will see. Dinner....well!.....fixed menu at 35 euro each.....not worth much more than 15 euro....very ordinary. Day 2......no upgrade, but at least the room is larger......bathroom is dirty with mould in the shower and on the vanity....not very pleasant. We took to shuttle to town for dinner but unless you were happy to return within 1 1/2 hours you need to stay for 4!.....not very convenient and made for a rushed dinner. This hotel could be spectacular with a bit of money spent....the grounds are large and the view is great but the small things are being missed.....it needs a good clean up and a more regular shuttle service given that it is so far out of Sorrento......the all inclusive slant on the hotel makes it feel more like a Butlins holiday camp than an Italian Hotel.....not for us!.......3 star at best, not even close to 4 star

the hotel was very welcoming and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very good with a large variety of food which was different every evening and the wait staff were great. The food was a little expensive but of excellent quality. There was also an all inclusive feature available but were informed that we had to come from the UK to take advantage of that. We also felt that we treated as "second class citizens" because we were not part of the all incusive. The shuttle service is fantastic and is easy to hook up with and very handy. One of the biggest issues we had with the place was the ANTS. They were everywhere, you have to keep your windows closed or they will be in all of your things.

Booked 2 nights, ended up staying 5!
We had been travelling for almost 2 weeks in Italy, and really wanted a quiet place to stay to recouperate. We found the Sea Club on hotels.com and decided to book. We were a little unsure about the location, being that it's a few kilometers outside of Sorrento and we had no vehicle. However, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle and they were more than willing to accomodate when we wanted to get picked up and dropped off in town. We book at a fantastic time of the year; the beginning of May. The weather was sunny and hot and there were not a lot of other visitors yet. The sea club met all our needs, for a clean room and a quiet and relaxing stay. The staff were kind, and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Minor 'negatives': - Internet access is available only in the lobby. It would've been helpful if it were offered in our room, but we made it work. - Like most of Italy (so, to get this would be unusual), there were only 2 english TV channels and both were news. - The food in the restaurant for dinner was good, but was a hit or miss. It was easy for us to bring food back for dinner at the end of the day. Had the restaurant had a little better prices, we may have considered eating there more often. We would HIGHLY recommend the Sea Club and it is often a point that we share when we talk about Italy. It is not a 5 star, but it is far from a 3 star. This is a rightly-rated 4 star and it will not disappoint!

Beautiful secret paradise
The Sea Club Hotel is fantastic and I recommend it 110% The staff are professional and welcoming and make a perfect holiday. The hotel is in a stunning private cove away from traffic with a free shuttle to and from Sorrento. Transfer from Napoli airport is simple jump on the Currerei bus outside the airport. The views are breathtaking with two salt water swimming pools, outdoor showers as well as access to the sea for snorkelling and to see the beautiful fish. Hotel guests are welcomed with open arms and the service throughout our stay was exceptional - the hotel reception staff and head waiter are fantastic, friendly and accommodating and made it a wonderful holiday to remember. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and caters for every taste and served with a welcoming, friendly smile every morning. Dinner is good and well priced. The pasta is divine and locally cooked specialities are on offer every night. The wine list is small but good quality and reasonably priced for some fabulous Italian reds. The waiting staff are a tribute to the Sea Club and their attention to detail is outstanding - crisp laundered linen, sparkling glass and exquisite service makes for a perfect meal every night. The Sea Club is outstanding value and offers a perfect getaway from the masses for discerning, independent travellers. The beauty and incredible history of Southern Italy is easily accessible and the hotel is excellent and expertly run - I can't recommend it highly enough - Grazie Sea Club!

Das Hotel ist in einer für diese Gegend sehr exponierten Lage, da es in einer eigenen Bucht liegt und über einen eigenen Strand verfügt, was hier eher die Ausnahme ist. Der Ausblick ist absolut traumhaft, es ist sehr ruhig, da keine Strasse in der Nähe ist. Das Hotel selber ist relativ neu gestaltet, die Einrichtung ist neu und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Sauberkeit des gesamten Komplexes ist nach italienischen Massstäben sehr hoch, nach deutschen kann man darüber streiten. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig, das Abendessen mit Buffet und Menüwahl super lecker und sehr vielfältig. Während unserer Reisezeit (Ende August) waren fast nur Italiener als Gäste da, erst Anfang September kamen mehrere deutsche Paare. Mit Englisch kommt man sehr gut zurecht, wobei auch mehrere Mitglieder des Personals zum Teil gut deutsch sprechen. Der gesamte Strand- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt, wobei wir nie im Pool waren, sondern das Meer vorgezogen haben. Der Strandbereich ist recht klein und eine Mischung aus Sand und Kies mit größeren Steinen dazwischen. Der aus unserer Sicht einzige Mangel des Hotels ist seine Hellhörigkeit. Wenn man wie wir recht rücksichtslose Nachbarn hat, die zum Teil um 1/2 6 Uhr morgens sich lautstark unterhalten, sollte man auf jeden Fall Oropax dabeihaben. Auch die Klimaanlage ist laut. Aber dank dieses Hilfsmittels hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub und können dieses Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
