”Great stay. Beautiful landscape/garden and very friendly service. Relatively quiet and calm. No major „attractions“ nearby, but various restaurants and small shops along the street. Everything else requires a car, Uber, or a <$1 bus ride which was very convenient.”

”This place is a Jim, I was so glad to have booked this hotel. It is a bit up the hill, but the view is phenomenal and the staff was amazing and dedicated to make sure my stay was perfect.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the air conditioning worked great, the rooms were big with a private patio, the shower was super clean. I definitely recommend and I will go back for sure.”

The property has well maintained gardens and wild life abound-far more than what we saw on the park tour! Capuchin and squirrel monkeys were regular visitors, including howler monkeys, toucans and a sloth in the nearby trees! The villa itself was well equipped, but could use updating. William, the host, was welcoming, kind and helpful.”

”The staff and the food and the views were all terrific! We sat on the balcony in the hammock and watched the sunrise and sunset, watched and listened to the birds, were amused by the monkeys. The breakfast was great each morning. Omelette and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee and juice. Fran, the owner, arranged our excursions and shuttle to the airport. She was wonderful to talk to about life. Her Korean restaurant, carambola was delicious. We ate there several times. Jorge took care of us...

I wish there was a fridge in the room since the closest mercado is pretty far and it would be nice to keep drinks/snacks cold.”

"Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly.
On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs and a table at the terrace. I had booked a room for 3, with a futon sofa; there was no futon in the room. When I complained about this, they asked why do I need a futon. Well, in principle I would like to get what I pay for. The manager was not ”available” to address my complaint, and also during the check-out the same staff member ignored my complaint. For a price of almost 300$/night I would expect more comfort in the room."
