”Really loved staying at Mountain Top. Our room was great except for toilet flushing, but that seems to be a problem throughout the country. The view was amazing from our balcony which had a swinging chair that added to the experience. The amount of animals we spotted just on the property's site was amazing: toucans, about 50 titi monkeys, macaws, black lizards and the sounds of howler monkeys. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the two toucans that visited us in the morning. ”This place is an amazing hidden gem in Manuel Antonio! It is a perfect stay for anyone looking for unique, chic, extremely clean but simple! ”Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. ”

”Upon arrival you’re driven on the golf cart to the top of a rainforest. If you watch carefully you can spot sloths, monkeys, and amazing birds. Our villa was the perfect arrangement for our family and gave us a great place to relax. The master balcony had morning closeup vies if a sweet Scarlet McCaw couple. ”We felt like we were alone in the jungle, full kitchen very nice bathroom separated from the bedroom. The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it”
