”I booked a single room with twin bed but upgraded to a double bed and got a better room. The room itself was quite dark, except for first thing in the morning when the sun lit up the room and the bathroom, which was nice. The bedroom had only one central light (quite dark) and one bedside light, with no lighting over by the desk where the kettle/tea/coffee were, which was a little awkward. The bathroom was very nice, light, airy and spacious. The room itself was up and down a lot of stairs,...

”What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester.”

”Room cleanliness was okay — you get what you pay for. My main issue was the amount of noise inside the hotel itself. For the last couple of nights of my stay, there was heavy music and loud conversations continuing into the early hours of the morning, which was completely unacceptable for a hotel environment.
