Honeysuckle Cottage is in a very scenic location and we were lucky to have fine sunny weather during

Honeysuckle Cottage is in a very scenic location and we were lucky to have fine sunny weather during our holiday there. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners, Nick and Liz, are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is situated near many dedicated walking/cycling trails on former railway lines and we cycled along them all during our week’s stay. We can thoroughly recommend them to other walkers and cyclists. All in all we had a wonderful week’s holiday at Honeysuckle Cottage.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location

Lovely cosy cottage, very clean nice location. The only thing I would say is that it was a shame the bathroom was downstairs, difficult for my elderly parents to use the toilet in the night.

Fantastic location. Peaceful and friendly. Wonderful to see animals and the crowning glory - a fussy little hen decided to visit our cottage just before we left. Almost as if she was doing an inspection! Hope we can come again xx

We had a fantastic week in Honeysuckle Cottage.

We had a fantastic week in Honeysuckle Cottage. The owners made us very welcome. the cottage was clean and perfect for us with stunning views. There is a pub a short walk away and the local amenities are a 10-15 minute drive. There are so many lovely villages and walks close by. Our only regret is there wasn't enough time to see everything! We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and hope to revisit at another time. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a really wonderful time at Honeysuckle cottage.

We had a really wonderful time at Honeysuckle cottage. It is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. We were pleasantly surprised that as we stayed at Christmas they even decorated for us. We were even able to get fresh eggs, and were allowed to spoil the horses by feeding them carrots. We had a brilliant time. The one thing I would note is that the location is so gorgeous and remote that there is no phone service or internet. For us that was fine, but it might be something difficult for others. We loved our stay and hope to come back!

We had a great three night break here.

We had a great three night break here. Our kids loved having horses and chickens and pigs nearby. They especially loved feeding the horses (with the owner’s permission!). We loved that they had space to play, the lovely friendly owners and the cosy wood burner.

A really lovely and well-equipped cottage.

A really lovely and well-equipped cottage. Remarkably quiet given the numerous caravans and tents on the same farm - but all well away from the cottage. The owners were very friendly and obliging. Very cosy and comfortable If there was anything lacking, it was only a dishwashing machine (which would be more useful than the washing machine, especially as there were nearby laundry facilities at the campsite) and a decent internet signal (so some sort of 'booster' would be required). Otherwise a great place.

We only had a brief weekend stay in Honeysuckle cottage, meeting up & shared with old friends from college. The cottage more than adequately met our needs. The open plan downstairs living space worked well for us and the multi fuel stove kept us nice & cosy - generous supply of fuel provided. We were blessed with lovely weather for the time of year & were able to enjoy a glass of wine in the outdoor seating area looking out of the dale. Although there seemed to be lots going on around around us we were not affected & the cottage was generally quiet & peaceful
